Angelica could not keep her mind clear. She continued to think about the kiss Ian gave her earlier.
She did not know what was wrong with her; she had not expected a kiss when a kiss was to be expected. They would be required to kiss as husband and wife, she did not know why it slipped her mind completely.
What made her more annoyed was the fact that Ian had done it so swiftly and for too long. He did not seem to take a second thought. In fact, it seemed as if he had been waiting for that moment for ages.
Either there was something she did not know, or he was a very good performer. She believed it was the latter. After all, they knew their reasons for entering into this marriage.
Ian moved his fingers across the wall as an entrance opened .
"After you my lovely wife," Ian smiled. He gave a gesture and bowed.
Angelica said nothing, she walked ahead and he followed behind her. The entrance led into a room full of various paintings of different sizes.
