"Oh, I have returned my dear. I hope I did not keep you waiting for long?" Pippa asked with a smile.
"No." Angelica replied. Pippa had observed that she had remained in the same spot unmoving. She had not attempted to converse with the other ladies. To be honest, who would converse with them when they shamelessly spread rumours in her presence.
Pippa could not help but giggle in delight every time she heard a new nasty rumour circulating. That was why she had invited all these ladies. Who better to spread gossip then them?
"Wonderful, I took the liberty of getting you something to drink." Pippa smiled offering Angelica one of the glasses in her hands.
"You should not have, I do not drink alcohol."
"I thought as much, you have nothing to worry for, this is not alcoholic, please accept it, it would make me so glad." Pippa said sweetly gesturing that she take it.
