THUD!
Upon collision with the ground, the Four-Horned Demonic Centipede laid silently still; its body twitching every so often as a dense cloud of smoke rose from its body; the shadowy aura that once draped its body was now completely gone.
It was clear that the Four-Horned Demonic Centipede was on its last life… and nearing its last breath.
The Bloodhounds neared the insect and eyed its charred body suspiciously.
"Is she dead?" One of them asked.
"She could be. But it's best we keep up our guard, unless we want to end up like Norman."
The memory of their comrade's mysterious disappearance into darkness was still apparent in their minds.
Though they were unwilling to believe it, it was clear to them that the moment Marionette had dragged their comrade into the dark abyss… it was over.
"It's best if we keep clear of the centipede in case she's—"
"Centipede!"
