After storing the son's corpse in his spatial storage and the syringe in a black container, he had a voice echo into his ear - resounding from an earpiece.
"Status report."
The voice belonged to his brother, Marek, otherwise known as the Crown of Roses and the current head of the Roselles.
Placing his index and middle fingers on the side of the earpiece, the Gardener answered:
"Target eliminated. I have also collected an interesting item that is in need of research."
"Is what you found a syringe, perhaps?"
"You're aware of it?" The Gardener asked in surprise.
Marek hummed in confirmation, "Veil of Roses had encountered one as well, along with Thorn of Roses. We have yet to get any report back from Blades of Roses, but I suspect he might be dealing with them as we speak."
"I see... what's the situation on your side?"
