After passing through the outer and middle rings, their limousine finally arrived in the inner ring. And to say that the streets compared to the last two rings were like night and day was an understatement.
The people who roamed the streets didn't carry even a trace of wariness or bloodlust for the people around them; their eyes were normal, not the least bit sunken due to financial desperation.
The streets were clean, decorated with streetlamps and bins - something that should've been expected for any streets, be it for the poor or the rich. And were constantly patrolled with guards to keep everything in check, preventing fights or other scuffles.
'There's still a lot of casinos...' Lillian thought, staring at the countless similar signs that displayed a roulette wheel.
It did make sense for there to be a lot of casinos; this was the district where the rich in the Underworld lived, after all.
