Barry is visiting Iron Heights to talk to his father, which now feels a little weird to Barry.
Before, when his memories were still centered around the original Barry, he felt what the old Barry felt, but after he got his old memories, his old personality started taking over.
His morals didn't change, but his feelings and personality did. His old personality was much more dominant and influential, so it wasn't hard for it to influence Barry's not-so-old personality.
Does he still feel something for his old man, who is locked behind bars? Yes, and he will ensure that he is a free man, but now Barry's life no longer revolves solely around freeing the old man.
He has new friends who are great to be around.
Henry smiles, seeing his son looking more confident and healthy than ever.
"Look at you, champ, looking better than ever. It must be that Caitlin girl you told me about. So how is it going with her?" Henry asks, speaking into the phone on his side.
"Well, I like her a lot, but it's not... serious..." Barry says.
Henry nods his head. "I understand, and I think it's good that you are taking it slow. You just recently started living for yourself. You don't want to rush into something that you are not prepared for," He says.
"I actually have something else to say as well," Barry says, getting a little serious. "What is it?" Henry asks. "The man who killed Mom. The man in yellow, we found him, we almost caught him, but... he got away," Barry says.
Hearing Barry mention this man in yellow made Henry feel things he thought he had left behind: anger, sadness, disappointment, resentment, and so much more.
"Are you still chasing after him? Look, Barry, I don't want you to put yourself in danger for this old man. You now have your life together. Don't throw it away, obsessing over this," Henry says.
"Don't worry, Dad, I know what I am doing. Next time, he won't get away. I promise that I will get you out of here," Barry says.
Henry doesn't say anything, seeing Barry look so determined. He knows he cannot change his son's mind.

Barry returns to S.T.A.R. Labs and sees the team not doing well. Cisco is frustrated, wondering what went wrong with the trap he designed.
He did everything according to calculation, so how did the Reverse Flash manage to bypass it? This question has been haunting Cisco ever since he saw his trap fail.
But with Barry here now, the team has to put this matter aside and deal with the problem they have right now.
"So, the three Metas I caught last night, any update?" Barry asks, looking at Caitlin.
"Yes, look at this," Caitlin says and pulls out two brain scan images for Barry to look at.
"Whoa, the primary motor cortex and Broca's areas are lit up like a Christmas tree," Barry says, looking at the two brain scans.
"But aren't they the same?" Barry questions, looking back at Caitlin.
"It looks like it, but it's not. These two brain scans are from our two captive Metas," Caitlin says.
"One belonging to your high school bully, and the other, Bette Sans Souci, an EOD specialist for the army," Cisco says.
"That explains her powers. She can blow up things," Barry says. "But why are their brain scans similar?" Barry asks.
"I think... they are being mind controlled..." Caitlin suggests.
"Mind controlled? By whom?" Barry asks.
"At first, I had no idea, but then I decided to cross-examine them with some of our previous data, and I found a match," Caitlin says and pulls out another brain scan that looks very similar to the ones from before.
"That doesn't look like a human brain, but its primary motor cortex and Broca's are also lit up in the same areas," Barry observes.
"You are right. It's not a human brain. It belongs to Grodd..." Caitlin says and pulls out a video of a gorilla.
Barry looks at the gorilla and then at Caitlin and Cisco. "You are saying that there is a Meta-Gorilla that is out there that can control minds?" Barry asks, even though he already knows the answer.
"How is that even possible?" Barry asks.
"Five years ago, Dr. Wells was working on a project with an army general named Eiling," Cisco says.
"Eiling?" Barry questions. "-General Wade Eiling," Dr. Wells rolls in, giving Eiling's full name. "About ten years ago, General Wade Eiling contracted S.T.A.R. Labs to develop enhanced gene therapies for soldiers. I was interested in the potential medical benefits for civilians. What he wanted was to develop mind-reading capabilities for interrogation purposes.
Five years later, I found out about Grodd and the experiments he did on Grodd, so I stopped the experiments... We didn't split on good terms," Dr. Wells gives a brief explanation.
"Grodd... I remember seeing a cage with the name Grodd..." Barry says.
"After I discovered what Eiling was doing to Grodd, we took the responsibility of taking care of it as it was no longer fit to live its life in the wild or with others of its same species," Dr. Wells says.
"After the particle accelerator exploded, I went down to check on him, but his cage was empty," Caitlin adds.
"So during the explosion, the dark matter affected Grodd as well, turning him into a Meta Gorilla," Barry says.
"Right, when the dark matter hit Grodd, all the drugs and serums that Eiling injected him with could've activated, creating a Meta-Gorilla... This is really cool~," Cisco says excitedly as the aspect of a Meta-Gorilla existing helps him take his mind off his failed trap.
"Okay, so a Meta-Gorilla is controlling two of the Meta-Humans I caught. What about this Ronnie guy? Is he being controlled, too?" Barry asks
"No, he is just an asshole," Caitlin says, clearly very pissed. "But I did find something interesting," She says and pulls out another brain scan belonging to Ronnie.
