Selina set the book aside, resting her chin on one hand. "I've been thinking about the drug the Brooks Family was researching back then."
Logan's gaze flickered, and he gave a slight shake of his head. "There's probably no way to uncover it now."
"Mm. That's exactly what I've been thinking."
Selina laid out her reasoning. "My father's death was so sudden… and my grandparents were already elderly. After my father passed, they both fell ill quickly. Realistically, they wouldn't have had the time or energy to clear out an entire lab. But after they died, there wasn't a single trace of research reports left in the lab—not one."
