Kai yawned lazily, stretching his arms. "Fine, I'll come too. Someone has to keep you two from murdering each other."
Selene squealed quietly, linking arms with Aria who begrudgingly allowed it. "Adventure awaits!"
They navigated through the dark, desolate landscape—crumbling buildings, rusted machinery, and overgrown foliage surrounded them. Drakenar runes glowed faintly along broken walls, emitting eerie, haunting blue-green light.
The deeper they went, the more oppressive the air grew, heavy with residual Drakenar mana. An unsettling chill ran down their spines.
Aria shivered, moving closer to Selene. "This was your brilliant idea?"
"Relax, it's probably just spooky decor," Selene whispered lightly. "Think Halloween, but real."
A sudden rustling sound echoed nearby, causing all three to freeze instantly.
