Meanwhile, deep in slumber, Testarossa's body was fully recovered; all the burnt marks vanished from her body, and Agera and Vritra slithered out of her body, wrapping around her neck. Testarossa stood up and felt a massive clash of magical energy coming from outside. She grabbed her clothes, and while putting them on, her legs started to feel weak, and she ended up collapsing. It was like her legs stopped responding. Testarossa looked at her hand and realised it was shaking uncontrollably. She let out a sigh in disappointment while saying, "What is wrong with my body? Is this an effect of using Atlas's power?" Testarossa started thinking about every possible reason why her body was reasoning, but then she heard a loud cough coming from the room. Jade woke up from her slumber; while still disoriented, she struggled to speak, but one word she said was clear: "T-e-s-t-a-r-o-s-s-a." Jade's coughing became louder and louder. Agera wrapped around Testarossa's body and helped her walk over to the jade bed. Agera used his tail to gently place Testarossa, next to Jade's body, Vritra spoke, "Agera, let's wait outside; it doesn't feel right watching our master this weak." Agera nodded in response, and the two snakes slithered their way outside. Testarossa grabbed Jade's shoulder and pulled her closer to her chest. Jade, coughing, started to slow down as she could feel Testarossa's warmth; it was like a gentle flame covering her whole body. Jade started to feel relaxed as her breathing went back to normal. She realised that Testarossa's grip was getting stronger. Jade turned over so she was directly facing Testarossa. She began to rub her hands up and down Testarossa's back, gently rubbing it. As Testarossa started to relax, her grip began to loosen. Jade said, "I won't be going anywhere, Testa. It's okay." Shortly after Testarossa felt her body started to be responsive again, Jade grabbed her hand and said, "You keep thinking about the worst possible things, and it started to affect your body. You mustn't keep yourself locked away, Testarossa; you need to tell me what you're thinking." Testarossa took a deep breath and spoke. "Ever since I saw you unconscious in the ruined city, it's been eating away at me that I couldn't protect you. First, when Rinko was taking over the human realm, and now you used the last of your magical circuits in the ruined city. I should have been there fighting beside you, but I wasn't, and you ended up getting hurt because of it." Teardrops started falling down Testarossa's face. Jade wiped away her tears and said, "It's okay, Testa, really. I'm here with you. You know that's all that matters." Testarossa smiled as Jade noticed her fangs dripping with a yellowish substance. Jade wrapped her arms around Testarossa's neck and pressed her chest against Testarossa while saying, "Darling, can you bite me with your fangs?" Testarossa's face turned red, and he said, "Jade, that can be dangerous. My venom – no one has ever tasted it before. I could kill you." Jade looked unfazed and then said, "I want you to create a vow with me." Testarossa looked unsure, but before she could reply, Jade said, "This vow will allow us to always feel each other even if we are far apart. If I still had my circuits, I would be able to use a bit of your power as well. Please, Testarossa, it will also help you mentally so you don't feel guilty about not protecting me." Testarossa couldn't deny Jade any longer; she pinned Jade down to the bed before grabbing her shoulder and biting into it with her fangs. Testarossa's venom started to flow through Jade, who started to moan from the pain; her face was flushed as venom spread throughout her whole body. Jade passed out from the pain as Testarossa Retracting her fangs, she kissed Jade on the head before standing up, Agera and Vritra Slithered and wrapped around Testarossa, it's time for me to join the battle. Meanwhile, Nova and Nicole were being overwhelmed with thousands of frozen corpses beneath their feet. Nicole started breathing heavily. "Nova, I'm almost out of mana. We can't keep this up much longer." Nova nodded in response, then suddenly a gigantic flame came crashing down directly on top of them. As the flame settled, Testarossa emerged. Immediately, Testarossa started burning the nether realm soldiers to ashes. She ordered Agera and Vritra to enlarge themselves; they started to poison and rip through multiple soldiers. Testarossa rushed over to Nova and Nicole. She summoned Tsuno and said, "Tsuno, first technique: thousand-bladed shield." The shield protected Nova and Nicole from the incoming soldiers. Agera and Vritra started to become overwhelmed. Testarossa said, "There are too many of them; they are being overwhelmed." Nova spoke in an exhausted tone, "Yeah, and Maria hasn't even entered the battle yet; at this rate we will lose." When they all started to lose hope, a massive crash of light hit the soldiers outside. Testarossa removed the shield, and in the distance she saw Jade with a massive amount of mana coming from her body. Jade covered herself in lightning and used a spell called "thunder shock twister", spinning towards the soldiers; lightning burnt them all to a crisp. Testarossa jumped into Jade's arms as Agera and Vritra covered them. Testarossa, with a big smile, said, "How are you able to use magic?" Jade grabbed her hands in response and said, "While I was asleep, I saw a being covered with pure magic. It spoke in a language that I didn't understand, but then it touched my neck, and it started imbuing me with magic. Nicole decided this being before she called it the origin point. Once the origin point stopped pumping magic into me, they said these things it gave me are called "runes". Testarossa had a dumbfounded expression on her face, but then the soldiers started to break through Agera and Vritra's defence. Jade grabbed Testarossa's hair tightly and said, "Now watch, my love, as I slaughter them." Jade's aura exploded as lightning started crashing down everywhere. As Jade started floating in the area, she started saying, "In fearful times, dreadful weather, beware of its quickness. Intense to strike twice, behold lightning." A massive thunderstorm came crashing down, killing thousands of soldiers in a single blast. As Jade flew down, she said, "We must take them down now before they regroup." Testarossa, Nova and Nicole all agreed and followed Jade's lead.
