As rain fell, an unsettling silence came after the gunshots. Mayker stood up and swiftly headed towards Nova. Once they got there, they saw… A pale corpse with lifeless eyes and a massive gunshot wound in her chest. Mayker removed their mask, showing Natasha's face as she placed her hand above Nova's eyes and closed them. During this, she spoke in a regretting tone: "I am sorry you shouldn't have been caught up in this fight." As her hand was slowly removed from her face, Natasha sensed a massive force of destruction coming from behind her. Mayker quickly remasked Natasha; as they turned around, there was a woman covered in scars with giant arm blades. Kairi had a face of pure anger. Kairi looked towards Nova's body, seeing the massive gunshot wound; her head slowly faced towards Rinko. Kairi kneeled down and sent a massive wave of destruction towards Rinko. As the ground was collapsing towards her, Rinko used her abyss magic to counter the blast, but Mayker appeared behind and kicked her into a building. Kairi and Mayker faced each other, nodding at each other, both of them sharing the same goal as Rinko stood up. A barrage of gunshots started firing towards them. Kairi created an aura of destruction around herself, and Maker covered themselves with tendrils that blocked the incoming bullets. As the smoke cleared, Rinko tried to apply more pressure to them, but Kairi grabbed her neck and slammed Rinko into the wall before punching her so hard the building started to crumble. Rinko spat out blood before trying to stand again, but before she could stand, Mayker grabbed her head and smashed her into the ground. Rinko laid there, naked, and Kairi stood above her. Drawing her blades, she said, "Any last words before I end your pathetic existence?" Rinko opened her hand before smiling, then she said, "The virus also works on corpses." As Mayker and Kairi stood there in shock, a white-haired figure appeared behind them. Massive ice projectiles started firing towards Kairi and Mayker. They both destroy the projectiles. Kairi tried to grab her, but Nova created a wall of ice blocking Kairi's approach. Nova stood there with no expression on her face, but then tendrils came out of the ground, stopping Nova's move. In a struggling, distorted tone, Mayker said, "Hurry, stop her." Kairi swiftly grabbed both of Nova's hands as a dark green energy came out of Kairi's body. Her expression saddened as she saw black veins all over Nova's body, realising the virus had spread throughout the body. As Kairi started to tear up, she said, "This is goodbye, Nova; you must now rest." A dark green aura covered Nova's body completely, nullifying all magic energy inside the body. As Nova's pale body fell to the ground, Mayker realised Rinko had escaped. As Kairi and Natasha returned to their normal state, they started to discuss the Abyssal Black virus. Tendrils came out of Natasha's back, forming a mask as the maker said, "The virus contains heks, the same species as me and the empress. When I touched Nova early, I felt the presence of a HEK inside her, but I soon realised what the virus actually is." Before Mayker could finish the sentence, Jade, Kaya, and Nicole came from the distance as they felt a massive clash of magic in that area. As they gather, Mayker continues his sentence: "The virus contains dead creatures that corrupt the mind and erase their very selves." As all of them stand there in shock, thinking on how to stop this virus. Deep in Nova's mind, Seilah and Nova are both crucified on a tree and slowly starting to fade. As both of them look pale and beaten, the virus keeps spreading throughout their body. Seilah noticed black veins appear on Nova's face. She said, "This is the end of us, Nova; it's been a fun ride," as Seilah smiled towards Nova, but her eyes remained dead, not even showing the slightest bit of emotion. As half of their body faded from existence. Suddenly everything stopped around them, and their bodies were restored to normal. An icy blizzard started destroying everything around them as a white gigantic dragon appeared in front of them. Seilah was in shock, but Nova's expression didn't change. The dragon spoke directly into their mind and said, "Young mortal, I have travelled far in search of you." Seilah was about to speak, but she was frozen in a giant block of ice. As the dragon looked at Nova, saying, "My name is Ophis, the dragon of aspect, and you mortal are the perfect vessel to inherit my power." As Ophis spoke, Nova still didn't respond, but the dragon continued to speak: "I am not from this universe. If you inherit my power, you will lose your humanity and pieces of your memories, but in return, you will obtain the power of concept, Elder Wilding, and the power of aspect." Before the dragon could speak again, Nova said instantly, "I will do it. I now see what Jade meant. Humans have their limits, and I am tired of being so limited." The dragon placed its claw on top of Nova's head, and a yellowish glow started coming from both of them as Nova's body started to change. Ophis started to get smaller and smaller until a flying orb flew inside Nova's chest. Nova's body started cracking and breaking itself as it started to remake itself. Seilah was able to use her magic to break free of the ice, but before she could do anything, Nova stood up. She had black horns and long whitish hair as she stood up, and she spoke in a calm tone: "I have no use for you anymore." She blasted Seilah with a powerful ice blast, and her body shattered into pieces. While talking, Nicole realised the sky itself was freezing as she said, "I feel something powerful coming." Nova's body flew into the air before her body changed into her new state. Kairi looked up at Nova, confused, saying in a worrying tone, "What happened to you?" Nova didn't respond, but she opened her hand, and a golden magic started to form a creature behind her. While the creature was forming, Jade shouted, "How do you feel?" Nova smirked as a dragon appeared behind her; she used a spell called Aspect of Ophis. The spell fired a gigantic blast into the sky, targeting everyone with the Abyssal virus as they heard thousands of people scream in agony. Everyone stood there in shock as Nova said, "How do I feel? I feel nothing; there isn't a shred of humanity left in me. I have become something far greater." As the smoke settled, Kaya said, "Another dragon has descended onto this world." Nova started to lose balance; she fell to the ground unconscious.
