Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Lord of the abyss

Kaya looked at the lord of the abyss with confusion, wondering how she was using the divine relic. Kaya was thinking of every possible solution why the map pointed to her, but she could only think of one thing. Kaya said, "You must have the divine relic; hand it over if you would be so kind." The lord of the abyss spoke in a soft voice; she said, "I won't be handing the relic over anytime soon. If you want it, you're going to have to kill me to get it." Kamiya stood up and started casting a protective barrier around Nova. Shiki stood up and started to disappear. Nova said, "Where are you going?" Shiki looked at her with a plain expression on her face and disappeared. Kaya drew both of her swords and started charging at the lord of the abyss. Kaya swords couldn't reach the Abyss Lord; she used her scythes to parry her attack and counter by using her legs. The abyss lord started spinning her blue scythe and threw it towards Kaya. While the scythe was approaching, Kaya, everything underneath it was turning into ice spikes. Kaya put one of her swords away and cut her hand open with her other one; she let the blood from her hand drip across her sword. She pointed the sword downward and used a blood slash to try and break the ice spikes. But the spikes kept on coming; they caught up to Kaya and stabbed through her feet. She was able to move. The lord of the abyss called her blue scythe back to her. She walked up to Kaya and said, "If you weren't holding yourself back, you would have put up a better fight. I am disappointed, Kaya Bloodfallen." She then froze Kaya in solid ice. The abyss lord put both of her scythes away and walked up to Kaya and Nova's barrier. Kamiya said, "Stay calm, Nova; it will be alright." Then suddenly the abyss lord broke through the barrier and stood in front of Nova. Before Kamiya could even react, the Abyss Lord grabbed Nova and started to kiss her deeply. Nova was in deep shock; her face went all flush, and she couldn't believe what was happening. Kamiya realised she was using a transport spell; she ran as fast as lightning towards Nova, but before she could get there, they were gone. Appearing in a cold and snowy area
