"Breathe wrong, move wrong and I promise you," a voice snarked from above as shimmering light began appearing around Osric while fifty lightning arrows materialized directly in front of him, their razor tips aimed solely at his chest.
"You will not live to tell the tale. And I am sure your clan will not miss one vice leader out of the three, right?"
The threat was real, the imminent danger unmistakable as a deep frown creased Osric's face, his teeth grinding slowly as he rose from Killian's body.
The Ki sword remained intact in his grip while he stepped backward, each step taken carefully as the floating lightning arrows continued to aim at him without wavering.
"Kuk!" Killian coughed loudly as he pushed himself upright, his movement shaky and sluggish.
Running down the stairs came Ash, breathless and drenched in sweat.
He rushed to Killian and immediately pulled him away while his wide eyes remained locked on the confrontation ahead.
