The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“H…he… I can't! His aura, his mana, his magic is growing. He is growing rapidly, I can't tame him. I can't. He's too…”

Meanwhile, in the shadow realm, Grey smirked as he lifted his hand and made a slashing motion in the air in front of him.

Grey Dawn had none. He was weak, useless, magicless and most importantly… a cripple in terms of magic usage.

Summoned by a celestial, the seal placed on his core was shattered and there he was appraised.

Grey found out not only will he wield magic, he would come to become the strongest mage in existence with five affinities.

Confident, he enrolled at Lunaria academy. One of the four great magical academies.

Here, he meets awesome mages, forged bonds and most especially, rivalries.

With his squad, Grey blitzed through enemies… portal breaks, dungeons, bandits, kingdom invasion, he was clearing them all.

But it wasn't enough.

The foe the world was up against were not weak by any means. The Otherworlders!

"So, let us begin," Clark stated, his voice commanding the room's attention. 


"Magic is power!" a student shouted out instantly.


"Magic is a way for us to defeat our foes," another student suggested, hoping to impress.


"Wrong!" Clark said again, his expression remaining unimpressed.


"Tch! As expected of mere commoners," Greg sneered, leaning back in his seat. 


"Magic is elemental control that allows us to perform unbelievable feats which commoners and cripples alike would struggle to even comprehend, let alone do."


"Still wrong," Clark said with a heavy sigh. "Magic is actually—"


"Magic is the fundamental force that shapes our world. It is the energy that flows through everything—through the land, the sky, and even within our very selves.
