The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“H…he… I can't! His aura, his mana, his magic is growing. He is growing rapidly, I can't tame him. I can't. He's too…”

Meanwhile, in the shadow realm, Grey smirked as he lifted his hand and made a slashing motion in the air in front of him.

Grey Dawn had none. He was weak, useless, magicless and most importantly… a cripple in terms of magic usage.

Not until an accident where he almost brushed past death.

Summoned by a celestial, the seal placed on his core was shattered and there he was appraised.

Grey found out not only will he wield magic, he would come to become the strongest mage in existence with five affinities.

Confident, he enrolled at Lunaria academy. One of the four great magical academies.

Here, he meets awesome mages, forged bonds and most especially, rivalries.

With his squad, Grey blitzed through enemies… portal breaks, dungeons, bandits, kingdom invasion, he was clearing them all.

But it wasn't enough.

The foe the world was up against were not weak by any means. The Otherworlders!

Destroyers of planets, conquerors of worlds. Beings with destructive powers and backing.

"I said what I said… you aren't receiving your payment for accusing my wife wrongly!" Cedric declared, his voice echoing through the hall.


"Do you honestly have any idea who I am? Do you realize exactly what I endured before I successfully returned your idiotic son back home alive?" Grey demanded in a fit of rage. 


Fire and lightning blazed brightly all around his body as he gritted his teeth until they ached. 


"I nearly lost my life, especially with the interference from your foolish daughter and your son being under active mind control."


"And that is my problem how? You were on the verge of getting your compensation, but you simply had to accuse my precious spouse of that hideous crime!" Cedric shouted as he shot out of his seat, his face flushed with indignation.


"You…" Grey began to retort, but Charlotte quickly stepped in to interrupt him.


"Please, Grey, just calm down," Charlotte pleaded, her voice trembling slightly.
