{Chapter: 385 A Change of Appearance}

A radiant, light green aura erupted from beneath William's skin like a gamma bomb held in flesh. The energy swirled violently, wrapping around his body like a storm of green fire. The shockwaves cracked the air itself, and with each pulse, the sheer pressure bent the surrounding air, making the air shimmer.

His boots gouged trenches across the shattered earth as Algrim pressed him, but William's steps slowed… until they stopped entirely.

Then—calmly, slowly—he pried Algrim's trembling hands away from his chest, fingers glowing with that strange light. "You're strong, Algrim. I'll give you that," he said, voice deep, resonant, almost inhuman.

Algrim's eyes flared with fury. "Damn you!" he roared.

"Ha!" William threw back his head and roared to the skies. Instantly, the green aura detonated outward like a gamma burst, a perfect sphere of fury that blasted Algrim away like a broken puppet.

The entire battlefield cratered from the sheer force, uprooting trees, flattening boulders, and vaporizing everything within a fifty-meter radius. A swirling maelstrom of wind and debris spun like a cyclone around William, who now hovered effortlessly, one meter off the ground.

As the dust finally cleared…

There he stood.

Suspended midair, surrounded by sparkling threads of green light. His hair, now long and wild, flowed like a waterfall of light green flame. His eyes glowed with the same hue—calm, focused, dangerous. His musculature had visibly changed—dense, sculpted, and pulsing with raw power, his veins illuminated faintly like channels of pure might. His shirt had been torn to shreds in the transformation, leaving only a pair of tattered shorts.

Far above, within the skybound holographic projection—

The six women stared, wide-eyed and stunned into silence.

"This… this is his x-human transformation?" Alice murmured, voice trembling slightly with awe. "Incredible."

Pepper bit her lip unconsciously, cheeks faintly pink. "That's... too perfect. Seriously. No one should be allowed to look like that."

White Queen's eyes gleamed. She tapped rapidly at a glowing control panel floating beside her. "Initiating full biological scan—muscle density, aura integrity, reaction times—record everything! This is groundbreaking!"

Ada narrowed her eyes, expression complicated. "Light green explosive hair… In Chinese culture, that's not exactly a good omen." As a Chinese, Ada still knows a little about the customs of the Chinese.

Jane blinked. "What? Why? It looks amazing."

White Queen smirked, clearly amused. "In China, wearing a green hat means being cheated on. Wearing a green hat on the head, green cuckold, means that your wife is having an affair with another man. The Chinese people commonly call it being green-hatted, so the Chinese people are very taboo about wearing a green hat on their heads. So... you could say William is now the embodiment of that misfortune."

"…Huh?" Pepper tilted her head.

"Green hair… green hat… cuckolded," Ada explained reluctantly. "It's a serious cultural taboo. No man wants to be told they've gone green in China."

Jane's jaw dropped. "That's ridiculous!"

White Queen chuckled. "Cultural humor aside, look at him. His whole head's green now. Symbolically, It indicates that one of you is going to put a big green hat on him. Or it's like the worlds themselves are trolling him."

"Impossible!" Alice shot back, arms crossed. "We would never betray him."

Ada gave White Queen a look. "Not funny. Don't joke about that."

Pepper nodded, stern. "Even if he's annoying sometimes, William is... William. None of us would ever do something like that."

Jane raised her hand in solemn support. "I may not be the strongest, but I'm loyal. That's what matters."

Sif, arms folded, let out a huff. "None of this concerns me. I'm not his woman." Then, almost reluctantly: "But for what it's worth… Asgardian women only follow one man in their lives."

White Queen rolled her eyes dramatically. "Fine, fine, I surrender! You're all paragons of virtue. It was just a joke! You really think anyone could cheat on that guy?" She gestured toward the projection, where William was radiating enough divine masculinity to threaten the laws of physics.

"I mean… if anyone tried, I'm pretty sure they'd be vaporized by sheer jealousy," Alice muttered.

White Queen laughed, "Or they will die with who knows how many or how much."

Back on the battlefield—

Algrim climbed from the rubble, staggering, one side of his face scorched. "What… what are you?"

William floated down slowly, landing in front of him with the grace of a god descending to judge a mortal. "I'm what happens when you push me past my limits," he said softly, green light flickering across his skin.

Algrim clenched his fists, darkness swirling violently around him. "I will not be defeated… not by you!"

He leapt forward, energy bursting from his feet like rocket flames. William didn't move.

Their fists clashed midair—BOOM!

This time, Algrim was the one hurled backward.

William tilted his head, examining his unshaken hand. "Oh? That actually tickled."

Algrim roared and charged again, this time launching a flurry of punches. Each blow was faster than the last, enough to tear through solid steel.

But William—calm, precise—blocked every strike, weaving through them like a phantom.

"I see it all now," he murmured. "Your movements, your energy... even your anger. You're trying to resurrect a dead legacy. But all I see is desperation dressed up in power."

He grabbed Algrim's arm mid-punch and twisted—crack!

"GAAAH!" Algrim screamed as he was sent hurtling through a crumbling rock formation.

William's eyes narrowed. With a crack of his neck, a crisp pop echoed across the battlefield. The green aura surrounding him surged like a storm responding to his heartbeat. His tone was calm, almost amused. "Come on, Algrim. This is your grand resurrection? Show me something worth my time. At your current level, it's impossible to defeat me."

Heavy, thunderous footsteps approached through the smoke and shattered terrain. Algrim emerged, his red-tinted body bruised and scorched, but his gaze still seethed with hate. "William," he growled, voice deep and ragged, "I underestimated you."

William tilted his head, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "It doesn't matter. I like being underestimated. Makes rubbing people's heads into the ground even more fun."

"You think some fancy transformation makes you invincible?" Algrim spat with disdain. "You changed your appearance. That's all."

"Appearance matters. Especially when I'm about to beat you into the ground with it," William replied. In a blur of light, he vanished.

Bang!

A vicious punch exploded across Algrim's jaw. His body flipped through the air and crashed to the ground, plowing a trench in the earth as he skidded back violently.

Algrim rose with a snarl, dark red energy surging like a wildfire from his core. "You can hit me all you want. You can't hurt me."

He launched a concentrated ray of dark energy. William blinked out of its path and appeared again in mid-air, only for Algrim to roar from behind him.

WHAM!

A massive blow smashed into William's back, sending him careening through a boulder that shattered into dust. He crashed to the ground with a thunderous quake.

Algrim loomed over him, his tone mocking. "Hand over the Aether, William. You can either die quickly or die screaming. I don't care which, as long as I get it."

William, lying amid rubble, began to chuckle. The sound was low, dark, and rising.

"What's so funny? You're moments away from death."

William slowly pushed himself up, eyes glowing with mischief and resolve. "I'm laughing because you're strong. Back then, I could barely last three minutes against you. But now? You're only slightly weaker than Odin himself. This... is exhilarating."

Algrim's face twisted with rage. "You're still dreaming. Your transformation changes nothing."

William's expression turned cold. "You're right. The x-human form alone... isn't enough. So it's time I show you a little of my power."

Algrim bellowed and punched downward, his fist aiming to shatter William's skull. But just before impact, a strange resistance stopped him cold—his hand hovering just 0.01 millimeters from William's head. His eyes widened.

A thin, translucent layer of shimmering green-gold particles had formed a shell around William's body.

"Wha--what is this?" Algrim gasped.

William looked up, his voice strained, veins glowing beneath his skin. "You… really shouldn't have pushed me this far. I can barely hold it back anymore."

William raised his head, "I told you to change your appearance. Why are you so anxious? I can't control it anymore. The violent power…"

With a roar, a massive eruption of green-gold particles burst outward from William. The wave sent Algrim flying like a ragdoll through shattered earth and burning debris.

The green-gold deformed x particles continued to rise, and stopped at a height of ten meters, rapidly fusing freely.

Hovering ten meters above the ground, William's body was now bathed in a swirling vortex of gold-tinged green particles. The deformed x-particles spun around him like stars caught in orbit.

Algrim smashed through several stone pillars before skidding to a halt, groaning in pain. Bruised, panting, he forced himself to stand, glaring at the phenomenon in the sky. "What... what are you?!"

The violent voice came from the rotating green-gold Transformer X-Particles, "This is the Transformer X-Burst form that will kill you three thousand times. Algrim, you should feel honored. You are the second person who let me use this power. You will die without regrets."

Algrim screamed, raising his hands to conjure a massive orb of dark energy. Its glow lit up the landscape in crimson. "To hell with your form! DIE!"

He launched the massive sphere straight at William.

BOOM!

The explosion rocked the island like an earthquake. Fire, smoke, and shockwaves erupted in all directions, covering the battlefield in ash and flame.

The girls, watching from the projection in the sky, gasped.

"William!" Jane cried out, her hands covering her mouth.

"Don't panic," White Queen said, eyes narrowed, scanning the readouts. "That explosion... It wasn't enough to bring him down. Not like this."

"But that was... enormous," Pepper whispered.

Sif grunted. "If anyone can walk through hellfire, it's him."
