And if that rascal ended up drawing in someone else's incompatible spiritual energy simply because that person couldn't keep it under control, would they be able to take responsibility for the kind of hell Killian was going to raise?!
Likely not.
But what else could he possibly tell them?!
If he outright explained that directly transferring spiritual energy could save someone's life, enhance their abilities, or perhaps even lead to the emergence of elite spiritual beasts, how many ruthless individuals would immediately start hunting down compatible people to use as living spiritual batteries?!
