When Vernon woke up in the morning, he felt his head ache heavily.
He looked around and saw no one.
"Helena?" He called out, but no response.
He tried to recall what had happened the night before.
He could picture a few pieces and fragments.
He sighed. He must have hurt Helena's feelings too much. He felt like a jerk.
But the trauma caused by the previous life's Helena's words wasn't easy to get rid of.
He knows that the present Helena is innocent. She shouldn't be punished because of the last life Helena's words.
But what could Vernon do?
He couldn't really differentiate both the Helenas completely, right?
Even though they are from two different lives, the fact that they were both the same person couldn't be changed just like that either.
