Jim did not delay for a second and nodded, "Sure. Sure. Thank you, boss. Thank you so much."
Merlin continued to smile, "Okay. Now I am going to ask you a question and you are going to answer me immediately."
"Okay, Boss."
"Tell me the name of the man you asked to kill me in an accident," Merlin asked simply.
His casual tone and the way Jim stiffened did not match each other at all.
They looked like two extremes. If one looked at their expressions alone, one would think they were having two completely different conversations.
"Boss?" Jim muttered softly, without saying anything.
"Wrong. You did not order my murder to me. I just gave you a chance and you lost your chance." Merlin stated.
"..." 'I clearly did not say that you were the one I ordered to. I just called out, that's all.' He thought to himself but there is no way he would say that out loud.
"Bring him here," Merlin ordered.
Jim frowned in confusion. 'Who is he bringing now?'
