"Welcome back, Nubia-senpai," Jeff greeted her warmly—like a husband waiting for his wife to come home—as he opened the door.
"I'm back… Jeff…" Nubia said, stammering and blushing the moment she saw him, unable to hide how much she had missed him after weeks apart. Right then—
"Who's at the door, Jeff-senpai?"
Veena came to the entry hallway, peeking from behind Jeff.
Nubia, of course, didn't personally know Veena. She had already graduated from high school by the time Veena became a first-year student and a member of the student council. But as the previous president, Nubia remembered seeing Veena's profile during one of her visits to her alma mater.
With that information, Nubia was sure that Veena was still underage. And judging by the sight of her wearing Jeff's gray shirt—looking like she had nothing else underneath—there was only one conclusion Nubia could think of, and feared:
That Jeff had laid his hands on a minor.
