The flames grew when they met the wind. Accompanied by a clear phoenix cry, they stretched wings in the air and transformed into a Lifire phoenix.
Its entire body was condensed from raging flames. Its tail feathers dragged behind it like flowing fire for over a zhang. Its phoenix crest glowed golden, and its cry pierced through the chaos in the formation, making the blood python's body tremble slightly.
The fire phoenix circled once. Its claws glowed with blazing spiritual light and tore fiercely toward the blood python's head like two bolts of crimson lightning.
The blood python sensed danger and abruptly swung its body. Its enormous head flashed leftward, barely avoiding the fire phoenix's claws, but its scales were still scorched by the flames, making sizzling sounds and emitting wisps of black smoke.
