Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: Wolf and Stone

Yami began demonstrating his abilities one by one, explaining them as he went.

First was Petrification, his main ability. He showed Ryuko how he could turn any part of his body into an obsidian-like material, far tougher than pure tungsten.

He explained that when a body part was petrified, it instantly healed from any damage, no matter how bad. However, he hadn't tested if it worked on complete amputation—and he wasn't about to try.

Next, he used Space Ripper. Yami's eyes fired two pressurized jets of blood, slicing clean through some clouds above them.

Yami went blind immediately afterwards, but he could restore his vision by petrifying and healing his eyes.

Then, he demonstrated Vaporizing Freezing, which let him freeze his body parts and transfer the cold to anything he touched.

Ryuko watched as he froze the ground beneath them in seconds, the ice spreading outward in jagged formations.

Flame Mode came next. His body temperature skyrocketed, and his blood reached 800 degrees Celsius, hot enough to boil inside his veins.

He demonstrated how he could eject this superheated blood like molten napalm, burning through a tree like it was melting.

Finally, he activated Gear 2, which forced his heart to pump faster and sent his boiling blood rushing through his body.

His muscles swelled slightly, his veins glowing red from the heat. In this state, his strength, speed, reflexes, and endurance skyrocketed. However, it pushed his body to the limit, causing him to overheat quickly.

After using Gear 2 for about 20 seconds, Yami felt slightly drained but recovered quickly. He took a deep breath, stretching his arms. "That's pretty much it," he said, smirking. "For now, at least."

Ryuko was impressed. Even after watching Yami's fight with Todoroki on live TV, seeing his abilities up close was something else.

She had never met anyone with so many different powers packed into one body—except for "him".

She crossed her arms under her nig tits, her sharp yellow eyes locked onto Yami's body as he caught his breath.

His muscles still pulsed from using Gear 2, and his shirt slightly burned at the edges from his own heat.

"That's crazy," she admitted. "You've got too many tricks. Most heroes barely have one good skill, but you have a whole arsenal."

Yami smirked. "Guess I'm just built different," he said, the same response he told Momo while back at the beach.

Ryuko gave Yami a faint smile. "It seems so." She took a step forward, her thick, toned thighs flexing slightly.

Her qipao-style hero costume clung tightly to her body, and Yami couldn't help but admire just how firm and massive her ass was.

Ryuko Tatsuma had the kind of ass that made a man question his life choices. It wasn't just big—it was absurdly firm and had minimal jiggle because it was packed with raw muscle.

It was the opposite of Ochaco's ass since hers was primarily fat; Ryuko's was mostly muscle.

The way her tight hero costume hugged every inch of her body only made it worse.

If she bent over even slightly, the fabric would probably snap.

Shaking off his distraction, Yami listened as Ryuko got to the point. "I think I understand your issue," she said, hands on her hips.

"You've got the power, but you're burning out too fast. If you want to push further—say, a Gear 3—you need to regulate your heat properly, probably controlling blood flow."

Yami nodded, recalling his conversation with Momo the night before. "Yeah, I should try adjusting how my body cools itself."

"Exactly," Ryuko continued, her thick thighs flexing slightly as she adjusted her stance. "You're overheating because you're letting the heat build up in your core. That's dangerous. You need to spread it to your arms, legs, and skin."

"Basically, you must train your body to manage the heat naturally, not just force through it."

She explained the technique in detail, explaining how he could mimic how she regulates her body temperature while in Dragon Mode, using different areas of his body to redistribute excess heat. It made sense in theory, and Yami was quick to try it.

Focusing, he activated his new Gear 3 for the first time.

For a moment, it worked. His veins glowed brighter, his body felt lighter, and his power surged. But then, midway through, his body locked up. The heat pooled in his chest too fast, and he nearly collapsed.

Ryuko caught him by the shoulder, her grip firm but not rough. "Take it easy," she said, her voice calm.

"You just tried something completely new and almost pulled it off. That's insane. Most people need months to figure out something like this."

Yami sighed, rolling his shoulders. "Yeah, but I hate failing."

Ryuko smiled, her sharp canines peeking out.

Seeing that the day was still calm and no emergencies had popped up, Ryuko stretched her arms above her head, making her big tits lift slightly.

"You know, since we have time, there's a lake nearby. Perfect place to cool down."

Yami raised an eyebrow. "You swim often?"

"Sometimes," Ryuko shrugged, her hips shifting slightly. "It's good for training, and honestly, you need it more than me. You run way too hot."

Yami nodded. "Fine by me. But if we're swimming, I'm gonna need to see you in a swimsuit."

Ryuko rolled her eyes but smiled teasingly. "Keep dreaming."

She turned and started walking, her thick, muscular ass swaying with each step. Yami couldn't help but stare as she led the way, wondering how tight that swimsuit would be.

They walked for a few minutes through the trees until they reached a small clearing where a crystal-clear lake stretched before them.

The water reflected the evening sky, shimmering under the fading sunlight.

Ryuko let out a small sigh, rolling her shoulders before pulling off her hero uniform.

Underneath, she wore a tight black sports bra and matching leggings that hugged her curves. Her toned abs and strong arms were fully visible, showing just how well-trained she was.

Yami, without hesitation, stripped down to his boxers. His muscles flexed as he moved, his body built like a solid stone from years of intense training.

Even without being aroused, his bulge was impossible to miss, pressing against the thin fabric of his underwear.

Ryuko glanced at him, her cheeks slightly pink, but she said nothing.

Stepping forward, Yami dipped his foot into the water. "Not bad," he said. "Could be colder."

They waded into the lake, the cool water washing away the heat from their bodies.

The day's training had left them both covered in sweat, and the feeling of the gentle current against their skin was a relief.

Yami ran a hand through his wet hair while Ryuko leaned back, floating momentarily, letting the water carry her.

As the sun dipped lower in the sky, turning the clouds shades of orange and pink, Yami glanced at Ryuko. "So, what do you do when you're not working?" he asked.

Ryuko raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"You know, hobbies," Yami said. "Stuff you do for fun."

Ryuko thought for a second before shrugging. "Training."

Yami blinked. "That's it? Nothing else?"

Ryuko crossed her arms. "I'm a pro hero. This job isn't just something I do—it's my life."

Yami shook his head. "That sounds exhausting. Even heroes need to relax sometimes."

Ryuko looked away, not answering.

Yami smirked. "If things stay this quiet during the internship, I'll take you somewhere fun. You need to learn how to enjoy life."

Ryuko's face turned slightly red. She scoffed, but there was no real protest.

After a few more minutes of soaking in the water, they both stepped out, their skin glistening under the last bit of sunlight. Ryuko squeezed the water from her hair while Yami stretched, his muscles flexing again.

The night was approaching, and the training was over. But Yami had a feeling like something was...

The system popped up. Of course, it did.

Yami's golden eyes narrowed. Garou. The Hero Hunter. Who now had actual super abilities mixed with Stain. And now he was in Hosu.

He barely had time to process the mission before Ryuko's phone rang. She picked up, her expression shifting from calm to serious in an instant.

"What? Hosu City? …Yeah. I'm on the way."

Yami had already started pulling on his hero uniform.

Ryuko ended the call and turned to him, her wings growing from her back. "Hosu's under attack. Villains are swarming the streets. Multiple pros are down."

Yami tightened his gloves. "Who's leading them?"

"We don't know yet," Ryuko said, her sharp eyes scanning the horizon like she could see the battle from there. "But the call said it's bad."

She crouched, her body shifting. In seconds, she had fully transformed into her dragon form. Her scales gleamed under the fading sunlight, her wings flaring wide. She prepared to take off—

"I'm coming with you," Yami said.

Ryuko paused, her large yellow eyes narrowing slightly. "No. It's too dangerous."

Yami met her gaze without hesitation. "You just saw what I can do. You really think I can't handle this?"

Ryuko opened her mouth, ready to argue. But then she stopped. She had seen what he could do.

He wasn't just some rookie fresh out of school—he had already fought like a pro, stronger than most. Hell, he was probably closer to her level than she wanted to admit.

After a second, she sighed, stretching out her wing. "Fine. Don't wander too far from me; after all, you are my responsibility."

Yami's face turned serious as he nodded.

"Get on," Ryuko said, lowering her back for him to climb on.

As Yami settled in, gripping onto her scales, Ryuko turned her head slightly. "Ever gone Mach speed before?"

Yami thought about it. "Once."

Ryuko huffed. "Then hold on."

Before Yami could respond, she took off.

The world blurred. The wind screamed past his ears. His body pressed against her back as she shot through the sky like a missile, moving way faster than before.

The city below became a streak of lights and shapes, barely visible as they closed the distance.

As Yami struggled to distinguish one building from another, the city was bathed in the glow of raging fires.

Thick smoke rolled through the streets, darkening the sky and making it hard to see.

The stench of burning rubble and blood filled the air, mixing with the sounds of battle.

Ryuko began her descent, her massive wings slicing through the air. As she neared the ground, she saw multiple wounded heroes lying scattered across the streets, their bodies battered and bloody.

Towering over them were monstrous figures—deep purple beasts with grotesque, twisted forms.

Their bodies barely looked human, each one different from the next.

Some had extra limbs, others had bulging muscles and exposed brains.

They fought like wild animals, tearing through pro heroes. Without hesitation, Ryuko swooped down and sank her sharp teeth into one of the creatures.

Her powerful jaws clamped down, crushing its flesh, but its durability was far greater than expected.

Instead of being torn in half, the beast thrashed violently, forcing her to spit it out. As soon as she did, she took a deep breath, filling her lungs with air before releasing a blazing fireball.

The flames engulfed the creature, its tough skin bubbling and cracking under the heat.

Meanwhile, Yami sprinted through the battlefield, weaving between fallen heroes. He crouched beside each one, sharing just enough of his stamina to keep them from bleeding out.

Their wounds closed slightly, their breathing steadied, but he couldn't fully heal them, and he needed to conserve his energy.

"Yami! Stop wasting time and look for survivors!" Ryuko roared from above. "Push the Nomu into the main street to concentrate our fire!"

Yami nodded quickly before taking off, leaping over rubble and dodging stray attacks. As he ran, he couldn't stop the grin that stretched across his face.

Tonight was the night.

His ribs split open with a sickening crunch, flesh peeling away as he activated Open Ribs.

He rarely used Open Bones—it was too brutal, too painful, and in general a double-edged sword—but under the cover of night, he could heal himself instantly.

The cool air rushed against his exposed bones, making his movements feel lighter and sharper.

Dashing through the darkened streets, Yami moved past wrecked cars and crumbling buildings, searching. He knew Garou had to be around here since he would never share a battlefield with Nomus.

Then he heard it—a sharp, agonized scream from a nearby alley.

Yami didn't hesitate. He turned sharply and sprinted toward the sound. But as he neared the entrance, an enormous ice wall erupted from the alleyway, shooting up like a jagged mountain.

A second later, it shattered into pieces, sending shards of ice flying everywhere.

Yami narrowed his eyes and stepped into the alley. What he saw made his blood burn with excitement.

In the middle of the alley, Midoriya lay on the ground, his right arm twisted at an unnatural angle. His breath came in sharp gasps, pain clear on his face.

A few feet away, Iida groaned, blood pooling beneath him from a deep wound on his leg.

Todoroki, the last of the three, was struggling to breathe as a bare foot pressed against his throat. But what really caught Yami's attention was the man standing over him.

Stain, Garou, the Hero Killer.

He had sharp, wolf-like features, red eyes that burned with an almost feral intensity, and long silver hair that spiked upward in two thick prongs.

His lean, muscular frame was wrapped in a tight black shirt, loose-fitting white martial arts pants, and a yellow sash tied around his waist.

A blood-red scarf hung around his neck, its tattered ends fluttering in the wind. His fists were wrapped in cloth, stained with the blood of the heroes he'd already crushed.

The half-and-half hero choked, his hands gripping Garou's feet, but the martial artist didn't budge.

His strength was terrifying. Yami could see it in Todoroki's trembling fingers and in Midoriya and Iida's utter stillness, watching helplessly.

Yami licked his lips, his excitement growing.

Garou turned his head slightly, finally noticing Yami standing there. His piercing red eyes locked onto him, and for a second, there was nothing but silence.

Then, Garou smirked.

"So," he said, his voice calm but carrying an undeniable weight. "Another fake hero?"

Yami grinned back. His golden eyes gleamed in the dim light.

Their glowing eyes were the only light source in that dark alley, wanting nothing but to tear the other one to shreds.
