Chapter 146 - meeting him for the first time and how can I explain where i learn how to read

As Father and Mother landed from their flight, I watched, mesmerized. "That was exhilarating!" Mother exclaimed. Father chuckled, "The wind was perfect today. I felt so free." They offered to take me hunting, but I declined, and they left to find food.

Kieraxys and Convix approached me, and we decided to play a game of chase. We ran and laughed, enjoying the sunshine. As the sun set, we collapsed, panting and giggling. "That was fun," Convix said, and Kieraxys agreed, "Let's do it again sometime!"

Father and Mother returned with dinner, and we ate together as a family. Afterward, Mother suggested a family storytime. We shared tales of our favorite memories, with Father recounting adventures, me sharing my first flight, and Kieraxys telling stories of mischief. Convix shared a story about his immortal lion friends.

The night wore on, filled with laughter and warmth. As the stars shone brighter, we settled in for a cozy night's sleep, our hearts full of joy and love.

Father grabbed by his claws stroke me gently with his claw.

Father gently placed me down and wrapped his wing around me, holding me close as we settled in for a peaceful night's rest. The warmth of his body and the gentle rhythm of his breathing lulled me into a deep sleep, feeling safe and protected in his loving embrace.

As I lay there, surrounded by the soothing sounds of the night, I felt my eyelids growing heavy, and my breathing slowed to match Father's. The world outside receded, and all that mattered was the warmth and love emanating from him. His wing wrapped snugly around me, shielding me from any potential harm, made me feel cherished and adored.

The stars twinkled above, casting a magical glow over the landscape, but I didn't need to see them to know that everything was right with the world. Father's presence was all the reassurance I needed. His steady heartbeat and gentle rustle of his scales as he shifted slightly were the last things I was aware of before drifting off into a dreamless sleep, cradled in his love and protection.

In that moment, all worries and fears melted away, replaced by a deep sense of belonging and peace. It was as if nothing else mattered beyond this moment, this feeling of being wrapped in Father's love, safe from the world's troubles. The night deepened, and I slept, enveloped in the sanctuary of his wings.

I smiled and nuzzled his side, feeling the warmth and comfort of his presence. The gentle scales of his skin brushed against mine, and I could sense his love and affection radiating towards me. In that moment, everything felt right with the world, and I was filled with a deep sense of contentment and peace.

As I nestled closer to him, I felt his warmth envelop me, like a soothing balm for my soul. The world outside, with all its chaos and uncertainty, seemed to fade away, and all that mattered was this moment, this feeling of being wrapped in his love.

The gentle rise and fall of his chest as he breathed was like a lullaby, soothing my worries and calming my mind. I felt my eyelids growing heavy, and my breathing slowed to match his, as I let go of all my concerns and simply being in the moment.

In this peaceful state, I felt a deep connection to him, a sense of belonging and being exactly where I was meant to be. His love and affection wrapped around me like a shield, protecting me from the world and filling me with a sense of safety and security.

As I basked in the warmth of his presence, I felt my heart fill with gratitude and love for this wonderful being who had taken me under his wing. I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, with him by my side, I could face anything, knowing that I was loved and cherished.

As the sun rose and the moon fell, I woke up and nudged Father using my head and horns. The gentle morning light streamed through the nest, casting a warm glow over us. Father stirred, his eyes slowly opening as he smiled and wrapped his wing around me tighter, pulling me close in a gentle hug.

"Good morning," he whispered, his deep voice rumbling softly. I nuzzled him gently, enjoying the warmth and comfort of his presence. The morning air was crisp, filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the distant songs of birds.

Father shifted, stretching his wings and shaking off the slumber. I watched as he arched his back, extending his claws, and let out a gentle yawn. His eyes sparkled with warmth and affection as he looked at me, and I felt my heart swell with love and gratitude.

"Let's go find some breakfast," he suggested, his voice filled with excitement. I nodded enthusiastically, my stomach growling in anticipation. Together, we set off into the new day, ready to face whatever adventures lay ahead, side by side.

I smiled. "And you will gluttonous yourself again and get fat again!" I teased. Father chuckled, his deep laughter rumbling through the air as he playfully rolled his eyes. "Hey, I'm a growing dragon," he said with a grin. "I need to keep my strength up." I giggled at his response, knowing that he loved to eat almost as much as he loved flying.

The banter between us was lighthearted and familiar, a comforting routine that made our mornings together special. Father's teasing was always laced with affection, and I knew he took pride in providing for me, even if it meant indulging in his favorite foods a bit too much.

"Well, just make sure you don't get too heavy to fly," I said, raising an eyebrow in mock seriousness. Father laughed again, his wings spreading slightly as he pretended to consider the consequences. "Don't worry, I'll stay fit enough to keep up with you," he promised, his eyes twinkling with amusement. Together, we continued our morning routine, enjoying each other's company as we prepared for the day ahead.

As we went about our morning routine, the warmth of the sun and the gentle breeze filled the air. Father and I moved in sync, our movements becoming a dance of familiarity and comfort. We knew each other's rhythms and quirks, and our interactions were filled with a deep understanding.

After finishing our meal, Father suggested we take a short flight to enjoy the morning air. I eagerly agreed, and we set off into the sky, our wings beating in unison. The wind rushed past us, and the world below us came alive with the sounds of nature awakening.

As we soared through the skies, I felt a sense of freedom and joy that only flying with Father could bring. We glided effortlessly, our wings catching the thermal currents and carrying us higher and higher. The world spread out before us, a breathtaking panorama of rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and lush forests.

In this moment, everything felt right with the world. Father and I were together, flying and enjoying each other's company, and nothing else mattered. We were free, unencumbered by worries or cares, our spirits soaring on the wings of the wind.

I looked at Father with a mischievous glint in my eye, "You're going to find a massive creature to satisfy your gluttonous appetite, aren't you?" Father nodded, a sly grin spreading across his face. "You know me too well,"

He said, his voice filled with amusement. "I need something substantial to keep me going throughout the day." His eyes sparkled with anticipation as he scanned the horizon, already on the hunt for his next meal.

I chuckled, shaking my head in mock exasperation. "Just be careful, okay?" I warned, trying to stifle a smile.

Father's laughter echoed through the air as he took off, his wings beating powerful and strong as he soared into the distance, on the hunt for his next big catch.

As Father disappeared into the distance, I watched him go with a mixture of amusement and affection. His love for hunting was something I had grown accustomed to, and I knew he would return with a tale to tell and a satisfied appetite.

I decided to take a walk, enjoying the scenery and the peacefulness of the morning. The sun cast a warm glow over the landscape, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers. As I strolled, I noticed the small creatures scurrying about, going about their daily routines.

Suddenly, I heard a faint rustling in the bushes. I turned to investigate, my curiosity piqued. What could be hiding in there? I cautiously approached the spot, my senses on high alert.

As I drew closer to the bushes, the rustling grew louder, and I could sense movement within. I slowed my pace, my heart beating slightly faster with anticipation. Suddenly, a small, furry creature darted out from the underbrush, its large eyes scanning its surroundings frantically.

The creature noticed me and froze, its tiny chest heaving with each breath. I smiled, recognizing the fear in its eyes. I held out a hand, palm up, in a calming gesture. To my surprise, the creature cautiously approached me, its fear giving way to curiosity.

It sniffed at my hand, then looked up at me with an almost pleading expression. I chuckled, understanding that it was seeking help or perhaps food. I rummaged through my pouch, finding a few berries that I offered to the creature. It gratefully accepted, nibbling on the berries with delicate precision.

As we stood there, a sense of companionship formed between us. The creature's fear dissipated, replaced by trust. I gently stroked its soft fur, feeling a connection to this small, vulnerable being. Just then, I heard the distant sound of wings beating the air, growing louder with each passing moment. Father was returning.

Suddenly, Father appeared beside me and said "oh Tharros you found a prey. Are you going to eat it? If not, then I eat it!"

I looked up at Father, a mixture of surprise and amusement on my face. "No, Father, I'm not going to eat it," I said, gently placing a protective hand around the small creature. "It's just a tiny thing, and it's harmless. Let's leave it alone."

Father raised an eyebrow, a hint of teasing in his voice. "You're getting soft, Tharros. A dragon's gotta eat, you know." He chuckled, his eyes sparkling with mirth.

The small creature, sensing Father's looming presence, trembled slightly, but I held it reassuringly. "I'm just saying, there's more to life than just hunting and eating," I replied, trying to reason with Father.

Father's expression softened, and he nodded. "You're right, Tharros. Sometimes, it's nice to have some company that doesn't end in a meal." He smiled, and the small creature seemed to relax in response. "What do you plan to do with your new friend here?"

Before I could say a wolf, jump in and take the small creature and eat it, and suddenly Father said, "Oh hey there astrum good to see you again and how are your 100 wolf members? Oh, and Tharros, this is astrum he is a lunari wolf, and they can live up to 60-137 years, isn't that crazy?!"

Father question "Tharros are you OK?" I yelled "OH WHY DID HE HAVE TO KILL IT?!"

I watched in horror as Astrum, the Lunari wolf, swiftly took down the small creature and devoured it in a swift motion. My eyes widened in shock and sadness, and I felt a pang of regret for not being able to protect the tiny being.

"Oh, Tharros, I'm so sorry," Father said, noticing my distress. "I didn't think Astrum would... He can be a bit unpredictable sometimes."

I turned to Father, my voice shaking with emotion. "Why did he have to kill it? It was harmless, and I was just trying to help it."

Father's expression turned somber, and he placed a gentle hand on my shoulder. "I know, Tharros. Sometimes, Astrum forgets that not everyone shares his instincts. Let's make sure to be more careful in the future, okay?"

Astrum, seemingly oblivious to the tension, approached us, his tail wagging casually. "Hey, thanks for the snack, dragon. Your kid was trying to protect it, though." He chuckled, a low, rumbling sound.

Father nodded. "Yes, Tharros has a kind heart. Maybe we can teach Astrum some boundaries, huh?"

My wolf-fox ears folded, and astrum comments it "Wow you did say you have hatchlings. I didn't know one of them have does kind of ears and is about 11-meters tall!" Astrum said.

I felt a flush rise to my cheeks as Astrum's comment caught me off guard. My wolf-fox ears folded back in embarrassment, and I muttered, "Uh, yeah... I guess I'm a bit of a mix, huh?"

Father chuckled and ruffled my hair, "Ah, Tharros, you're one of a kind, all right. And don't worry about the height, you're still growing."

Astrum's eyes sparkled with amusement, "I've never seen a dragon-hybrid like you before. You're definitely... unique."

I shot Astrum a look, "Hey, being unique isn't always a good thing, you know." But deep down, I couldn't help but feel a bit proud of my unusual features.

I yelled, "And I'm not a hybrid, it's just some kind of rare hatch defect!" My voice echoed through the air, a mix of frustration and embarrassment. Father's expression turned apologetic, and he placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder.

Astrum, however, seemed to find the situation amusing. "A defect, huh? Well, it's certainly... interesting. I've never met a dragon with wolf-fox ears before."

I glared at Astrum, my ears folding back in annoyance. "It's not funny, Astrum. It's just... something that's part of who I am." Father stepped in, his voice calm and soothing. "Tharros, it's okay. You're perfect just the way you are. And Astrum, maybe you could be a bit more considerate."

Astrum's expression softened slightly, and he nodded in understanding. "Sorry, Tharros. I didn't mean to make light of your... unique feature. You're right, it's part of who you are, and that's what makes you special."

I eyed Astrum warily, still feeling a bit defensive. But Father's words and Astrum's apology helped to ease my frustration. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly, feeling a bit more calm.

Father smiled and squeezed my shoulder. "That's the spirit, Tharros. Now, let's focus on more important things. Like finding some lunch. I'm starving!"

Astrum chuckled and fell into step beside us. "Yeah, I'm always up for food. Lead the way, dragon."

As we walked, I couldn't help but notice the way Astrum seemed to fit in seamlessly with our little group. Despite his rough exterior, he had a certain charm to him. And Father seemed to trust him, which was good enough for me. For now, I would reserve judgment and see how things played out.

I question softly, "Father, do you know him for how long?" Father answered. "About 4-5 years ago and being you an 8 years old hatchlings that mean when you are about 3-4 years old!"

I thought back to when I was 3-4 years old, trying to remember if father had any interactions with Astrum during that time. My memories from that age were a little bit hazy, but I vaguely recalled the sound of wolf holw around the periphery of my life.

"So, you've known him for a while, then," I said, glancing over at Astrum, who was walking beside us. He seemed to be listening in on our conversation, his ears perked up and his eyes fixed on me.

Father nodded. "Yes, Astrum and I have had our paths cross a few times over the years. He's a bit of a loner, but he's got a good heart. And he's been helpful in the past, so I've learned to trust him."

I nodded, taking in Father's words. It was good to know that Astrum had a history with Father, and that he wasn't just some random stranger who had wandered into our lives. But I still had questions, and I wasn't sure if I was ready to trust Astrum just yet.

Father smiled and grin "and not only that, I did make him the wolf king, but it was a secret!" He looks at me.

I stared at Father in surprise, my eyes wide with astonishment. "You made him the wolf king?!" I repeated, trying to process this new information. I looked over at Astrum, who was watching me with a mixture of amusement and wariness.

Astrum chuckled and shook his head. "Yeah, I guess the cat's out of the bag now. Or should I say, the wolf's out of the pack?"

I turned back to Father, my mind racing with questions. "Why didn't you tell me? And why is it a secret?" I asked, feeling a bit left out that Father had kept such a significant piece of information from me.

Father's grin faltered, and he looked serious for a moment. "It's complicated, Tharros. Let's just say that Astrum's position as wolf king is... delicate. It's better for everyone if it remains a secret for now."

Astrum giggled, "Being both alpha of my pack and being a wolf king is not an easy test, in my opinion!"

Father looked at astrum and said, "You did say that you decided to mate with your mate and have pups right, and are they born?"

Astrum's face lit up with a warm smile, and his eyes sparkled with excitement. "Yes, my mate, Akira, and I are expecting our first litter of pups! We're both thrilled, and the pack is eagerly waiting for their arrival. Akira is doing well, and we're all looking forward to meeting our new additions soon."

I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and anticipation, sensing Astrum's enthusiasm. "That sounds amazing! Congratulations, Astrum. I'm sure it'll be an exciting time for the pack," I said, smiling at the thought of new life and growth within the pack.

I mumbled, "Now that is a creative name for your mate." And suddenly, Father bonk my head hard with his large tail.

I winced, rubbing my sore head. "Ow, Father! What was that for?" I asked, looking up at him with a mixture of surprise and annoyance.

Father's expression was stern, but his eyes twinkled with amusement. "Don't be rude, Tharros. Astrum's mate's name is none of your concern. Show some respect."

I rubbed my head again, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Sorry, Astrum. I didn't mean to be rude," I said, looking over at him with a sheepish grin.

Astrum chuckled and nodded. "No offense taken, Tharros. I think Akira is a unique name, too."

Father question "So how many pups you have since, on average, Lunari wolf can have up to 2-6 pups!"

Astrum thought for a moment before responding, "We're expecting a litter of 4 pups! Akira and I are both excited to meet our little ones soon. The pack is preparing the den and getting everything ready for their arrival."

Father nodded, a smile on his face. "Four pups, eh? That's a good-sized litter. I'm sure they'll bring a lot of joy to the pack."

I watched Astrum's face light up with anticipation, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for him and his mate, Akira.

Astrum's eyes sparkled with excitement as he continued, "Yes, Akira has been doing great, and the pack's been helping us prepare for the new additions. We're thinking of naming them after the different phases of the moon."

Father's interest was piqued. "Oh? That sounds like a lovely theme. What names have you chosen?"

Astrum smiled, "We're thinking of Nova for a girl and Orion for a boy, but we haven't finalized the names yet. We're open to suggestions from the pack."

I chimed in, "I think Nova is a beautiful name. And for the others, maybe Luna, Solara, and Apex?" Astrum's face lit up, "Those are great suggestions! I'll discuss them with Akira and see what she thinks."

Astrum smiled, "but we sick to the boy Zorvix and the girl Lythari and another girl Shaevolyn and another boy river! If we got it right." And giggled a bit.

Father chuckled, "Well, it seems you and Akira have already got a plan for your little ones. Zorvix and Lythari sound strong and noble, while Shaevolyn is quite unique. And River is a lovely name for your son."

Astrum grinned, "Yes, we're really looking forward to meeting them. Akira's got a special bond with the pack's elder, and she's been getting lots of advice on parenting."

I smiled, "I'm sure the pack will be wonderful with the new additions. You're going to be an amazing father, Astrum."

I question, "How many days until they are born?" And astrum answered "Well lunari pregnancy lasted approximately 60-70 days." He paused.

Astrum continued, "And we're about 40 days in, so... let's see... " He counted on his fingers, "We should meet our little ones in about 20-30 days. I'm counting down the days, to be honest!"

I nodded, "That's exciting! You're going to be amazing parents, both of you. I'm sure the pups will be adorable." Astrum's face lit up with anticipation again, and I could tell he was barely containing his excitement.

Astrum bow "See you guys later. I hope we'll meet again someday, dragons! I have responsibility as an alpha and the wolf king and an upcoming Father!"

As Astrum bowed, Father and I nodded in respect, acknowledging his duties and responsibilities. "We'll definitely meet again, Astrum," Father said with a warm smile. "Take care of yourself, Akira, and the pack. We'll be looking forward to hearing about the new additions."

With a final nod, Astrum turned and departed, leaving us to watch him go. "He's a fine young alpha," Father commented, "and he'll make a great father." I nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of goodwill towards Astrum and his growing family.

Father stomach growled loudly, and I burst out laughing, knowing he would get himself fat again by overeating himself.

Father's face turned bright red as he chuckled, "Ah, I guess someone's reminding me it's time for breakfast!" He rubbed his belly, laughing. "You're right, I have been indulging a bit too much lately. Maybe I'll try to pace myself this time."

I teased, "Good luck with that, Father. I'm sure the cooks will be thrilled to feed you extra portions again." Father playfully rolled his eyes, and we both shared a hearty laugh.

Father laughed, stroking my head with his snout. "Are you saying I'm going to get overeating again and get fat?" Father ask and I nodded.

Father chuckled, "You know me too well, kiddo." He smiled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I guess I do have a bit of a weakness for good food." He leaned in, his voice taking on a conspiratorial tone, "But don't worry, I'll try to keep my appetite in check... for a little while, at least."

I giggled, knowing that Father's resolve would likely last only until the next delicious meal came along.

Father yelled "let get myself fatten up today morning!"

I face-palmed, "Father, you're giving up already?!" I laughed, "You just said you'd try to pace yourself, and now you're declaring you're going to gorge yourself?" Father grinned mischievously, "Hey, why resist the inevitable? Let's go find some breakfast!"

I shook my head, laughing, "You're impossible, Father. Fine, let's go, but don't say I didn't warn you when you're waddling back to our cave." Father chuckled, already heading towards the forest, his stomach growling in anticipation.

As we soared over the treetops, the scent of fresh game wafted through the air, and Father's eyes lit up. "Ah, I can smell the deer! Let's go, kiddo!" He dove down, his wings tucked in, and I followed, laughing at his enthusiasm.

We swooped down, talons extended, ready to snatch our prey. Father's love of food was matched only by his love of the hunt.

Father frowned. "That is not big enough for me. I want some big and massive meat for me to eat."

I chuckled and teasin "what that you can't walk anymore by you getting fat?!" Father nodded.

I couldn't help but tease him further, "Ha! You're not exactly known for your hunting agility anymore, are you?" Father huffed, "Hey, I can still catch my prey, thank you very much! I just need something bigger, that's all."

He scanned the forest floor, his eyes locking onto a massive aurochs grazing in the distance. "Ah, now that's what I'm talking about. That beast will make a fine meal." Father's eyes gleamed with excitement, and he crouched low, preparing to pounce.

Father charged at it and killed it insteadly without breaking a sweat, but I'm not surprised he can defeat it so easily.

I watched with a mixture of amusement and admiration as Father effortlessly took down the aurochs. "Not bad for an old dragon, huh?" I said with a grin. Father chuckled, his chest heaving slightly as he caught his breath. "Told you, kiddo. Still got it."

He began to feast on the fresh meat, savoring each bite. I joined in, and we ate in comfortable silence, the forest sounds providing a soothing background hum. After a while, Father leaned back, content and full, and let out a satisfied belch. "Ah, that hits the spot."

I didn't eat it that much, but Father, eat it like there is no tomorrow now. Father Belly is bulged that he can't walk all the way back to the mountain cave.

I chuckled, "I told you so, Father. You're going to have to waddle back to the cave." Father groaned, his belly bulging so much that he could barely move. "Maybe I should just roll back," he joked, his breathing labored.

I laughed, "You're such a sight, Father. I'm going to have to fly ahead and warn the others to clear a path for you." Father nodded, his face red from exertion. "Yeah, good idea. Don't want to cause a landslide with this belly of mine."

A few minutes later, Father sighed. "You know what we are teleporting back. I don't know what things I'll bump into!"

I burst out laughing at the thought of Father's massive, bulging belly bumping into things as he walked. "Teleportation sounds like a great idea, Father. Let's get you back to the cave before you cause any more chaos in the forest." I chuckled, already imagining the relieved looks on the others' faces when we'd arrive. "Hold on tight, here we go!"

As we teleported, the familiar sensation of our molecules shifting and reforming washed over us. When the teleportation was complete, we found ourselves standing in the grand entrance of our mountain cave. Mother looked up from her seat by the fire, a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes. "Welcome back, dear," she said, her voice laced with a mixture of concern and teasing. "I see you've enjoyed your meal." Father's face turned slightly pink as he patted his bulging belly, looking a bit sheepish.

The younger siblings, including Kaidorix, Kieraxys, and Niamon, giggled and pointed at Father's belly, clearly entertained by the sight. "Father's got a big tummy!" Niamon exclaimed, her lavender scales glistening in the firelight. The older siblings chuckled and smiled, each reacting in their own unique way to Father's predicament.

"Maybe you should take a nap, Father," Lyrixa suggested, her rose gold scales shining with amusement. Father nodded, already heading towards his favorite resting spot. "That's not a bad idea, dear. I think I'll just take a little rest." Mother nodded, a knowing smile on her face. "I'll make sure dinner is light tonight, dear."

Mother looked at Father massive belly and sighed. "I'm not scolding you today, Aetherius!"

Father let out a sighed of relief and giggled, "Now that is good." He patted his belly, and it jiggled and bounced.

Me and my siblings burst out laughing at the sight of Father's jiggling belly. "Father's belly is dancing!" Kaidorix exclaimed, holding his sides.

Mother couldn't help but chuckle, shaking her head. "I'm just glad you're happy, dear."

Father grinned, looking pleased with himself. "A good meal is always worth it," he said, patting his belly contentedly.

He goes and gets on his Father Belly and lay there as Father feels the weight of my body, and he starts wailing in pain.

I climbed onto Father's belly, and he let out a pained groan as my weight settled on his distended stomach.

"Oh no, Tharros, you're absolutely crushing me!" he exclaimed, his voice rising in discomfort as he tried to accommodate my weight.

I settled in, feeling the soft give of his scales and the warmth of his body beneath me.

Father's belly jiggled and squished under my weight, and he let out a series of pitiful moans, exaggerating his discomfort for comedic effect.

The rest of the family burst out laughing at the sight, and even Mother couldn't help but chuckle at Father's over-the-top antics.

The cave was filled with the sound of laughter and playful teasing, a warm and joyful family moment.

As Father continued to mock-struggle under my weight, the younger siblings giggled and snickered, clearly entertained by the spectacle.

Kaidorix and Kieraxys jumped up and down, their eyes shining with amusement, while Niamon clapped her hands, squealing with delight.

Lyriath and Vyraxys exchanged a knowing look, both of them grinning from ear to ear.

Nyxoria and Lyrixa leaned against each other, laughing and whispering to one another as they watched the scene unfold.

Mother shook her head, a warm smile on her face as she watched her family enjoy themselves.

"You're such a show-off, Aetherius," she said, her voice filled with affectionate teasing.

Father let out a dramatic sigh, his belly still jiggling under my weight.

"I am but a martyr, dear," he declared, his voice dripping with melodrama.

The family erupted into laughter once again, the sound echoing off the walls of the cave.

I question, "What is a martyr?" I looked up at Mother, who was smiling at me. "A martyr is someone who sacrifices a lot for others or suffers for a cause," she explained. "But Father's using it in a bit of a joking way, isn't he?" She glanced at Father, who was still pretending to struggle under my weight.

Father nodded, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Yes, I'm a martyr to your playful nature, my dear son," he said, his voice dripping with humor. "I'm suffering greatly under your tiny feet... or rather, your weight on my belly."

The family chuckled at Father's antics, and I smiled, feeling happy to be a part of this lighthearted moment with my family.

I snuggled at Father belly, and a wave of pain hit Father when I snuggled it.

Father let out a mock-pained yelp as I snuggled into his belly, his eyes widening in exaggerated discomfort. "Oh, Tharros, you're torturing me!" he exclaimed, his voice rising in a comically over-the-top manner.

Despite his teasing, Father wrapped his claws gently around me, holding me close as I continued to snuggle into his warm belly. The rest of the family laughed at the sight, enjoying the playful interaction between Father and me.

As I snuggled in, Father's expression softened, and he looked down at me with affection. "You little scamp, you're going to be the death of me," he said, his voice filled with warmth and love.

The cave was filled with the sound of happy laughter and playful teasing, a warm and cozy family moment.

Mother looks at my younger siblings. "All right, since Aetherius and Tharros done eating it time for us to hunt and eat!"

Mother's words sparked excitement in the younger siblings. "Yay, hunting time!" Kaidorix exclaimed, bouncing up and down. Kieraxys and Niamon cheered, their eyes shining with anticipation.

Lyriath and Vyraxys exchanged a look, both of them grinning. "Time to catch some real food," Lyriath said, cracking his knuckles.

Nyxoria and Lyrixa nodded, their scales glinting in the firelight. "Let's go find something big and juicy," Nyxoria said, her voice filled with enthusiasm.

Father, still recovering from his earlier meal, groaned. "Do I have to come along? Can't I just rest here?" he asked, his belly still bulging from his earlier feast.

Mother smiled. "You're coming along, dear. You can't miss out on the fun." Father sighed, reluctantly standing up, his massive frame looming large in the cave. "Let's get this over with," he said, his voice laced with mock resignation.

Father shook his head. "I don't think I can walk with this massive belly and Tharros laying on it!" I nodded.

Father chuckled and said, "I think I'll survive without my little passenger for now," he said, smiling.

As he stood up, his massive frame unfolded from the cave floor, and he stretched his limbs, giving a contented sigh. "Much better," he said, patting his belly.

Mother smiled, watching Father prepare for the hunt. "Let's get moving, everyone. We don't want to waste the daylight."

The family nodded, and with a chorus of excited chirps and rustling scales, we set off on our hunting trip. Father lumbered along, his belly swaying gently as he walked, while the rest of us darted ahead, eager to track down our prey.

I fell with a loud yelp when Father got up when I was on his belly, and I cried and whimpered.

I fell with a loud yelp as Father stood up, my tiny body tumbling to the cave floor. I let out a distressed cry, my voice shaking with surprise and hurt.

Father immediately stopped and turned around, concern etched on his face. "Oh no, Tharros! Are you okay, little one?" he asked, rushing to my side.

He gently scooped me up in his claws, cradling me close to his chest. "I'm so sorry, Tharros. I didn't mean to drop you," he said, his voice filled with apology.

I sniffled and whimpered, still shaken from the fall. Father rocked me gently, trying to soothe me. "It's okay, little one. You're safe now. I'll be more careful," he promised, his warm breath whispering against my scales.

Mother came over, her expression soft with concern. "Is Tharros okay?" she asked, gently stroking my head.

Father nodded, holding me close. "He's a bit shaken up, but he'll be fine."

As Mother continued to comfort me, my whimpers slowly subsided, replaced by snuffles and eventually, calmness. Father's warmth and gentle rocking motion lulled me into a sense of security, and I nestled into his chest, feeling safe and protected.

Mother smiled "Alright see you later, you two!" With that, Mother flew with the rest of my younger siblings while I still whimpering and crying.

I and I went back to whimper and cry, still feeling a bit shaken from my fall. Father held me close, trying to comfort me as I buried my face in his chest.

"Shh, it's okay, Tharros," he whispered, his voice soothing. "You're safe with me. Mother and the others will be back soon."

As I cried, Father gently stroked my back, his claws softly petting me. He sat down on the cave floor, cradling me in his lap, and let me cry it out.

The cave was quiet, except for the sound of my sniffles and Father's gentle humming. He rocked me back and forth, his warmth and gentle motion helping to calm me down.

As the minutes passed, my cries slowly subsided, replaced by soft snuffles. Father continued to hold me, his presence a comforting reassurance that everything was okay.

Eventually, I fell asleep in the Father's arms, exhausted from my emotional outburst. Father smiled, looking down at me with love and adoration. "Sleep tight, little one," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

I sat there, cradling my little one in my arms, feeling his tiny body relax as he drifted off to sleep. His soft snores filled the cave, and I couldn't help but smile. Being a father was the greatest joy I'd ever known.

As I looked down at Tharros, I felt a deep sense of love and responsibility. I would do anything to protect him, to keep him safe and happy. I gently stroked his soft scales, feeling a sense of peace wash over me.

The cave was quiet, except for Tharros's gentle snores. I sat there, lost in thought, watching my little one sleep. I thought about the hunt earlier, and how the family had worked together to bring down our prey. I thought about the laughter and the excitement, and how Tharros had fallen off my belly.

I chuckled to myself, remembering the look on his little face as he tumbled to the ground. He was such a tiny ball of energy, always bouncing around and getting into mischief. I was grateful to have such a wonderful family, and I knew that I would always be there for them, no matter what.

As I sat there, holding Tharros close, I felt a sense of contentment wash over me. This was what life was all about – family, love, and protection. And I was grateful to have such a wonderful little one in my life.

I gently placed Tharros on my belly, feeling his weight settle into the soft folds of my scales. Despite his small size, he seemed to find the perfect spot to rest, and I smiled as I felt his gentle breathing against my skin.

As I wrapped my wing around him, I felt a sense of protection and security wash over me. My wing formed a cozy little cocoon around him, shielding him from the outside world and keeping him safe.

Tharros stirred slightly, snuggling deeper into the warmth of my belly and wing. I smiled, feeling his 11-meters tall body relax further into the comfort of my presence.

As I lay there, I felt a deep sense of contentment. My little one was safe, and that was all that mattered. I closed my eyes, letting the warmth of the cave and the gentle rhythm of Tharros's breathing lull me into a peaceful rest.

I sighed. "I guess I should humming a bit!"

I began to hum a gentle tune, my deep voice rumbling softly as I cradled Tharros in my arms. The vibrations of my humming seemed to soothe him even further, and he snuggled deeper into my chest.

As I hummed, I gently swayed back and forth, my eyes fixed on Tharros's peaceful face. The cave was quiet, except for the sound of my humming and Tharros's gentle breathing.

The humming seemed to weave a spell of calm around us, and I felt my own tension melt away as I watched my little one sleep. I hummed a bit longer, savoring the peaceful moment, and feeling grateful for this time with Tharros.

The soft humming continued, a gentle lullaby that filled the cave with warmth and comfort. As the moments passed, Tharros's breathing grew slower, and I knew he was deeply asleep, safe in my arms.

I shook my head. "Why did I stand up while Tharros was still on my belly and fell down? Why did I even do that in the first place?!" I said to myself.

I couldn't help but chuckle at my own carelessness. 'Note to self,' I thought, 'be more mindful of little Tharros's safety." I gently adjusted my hold on him, making sure he was secure in my arms.

As I replayed the moment in my head, I realized I had gotten a bit too caught up in the excitement of the hunt. I had stood up without thinking, not realizing Tharros was still on my belly. Luckily, he seemed okay, just a bit shaken up.

I shook my head again, smiling wryly. "Father of the year, Aetherius," I thought, teasing myself. But despite the mishap, Tharros was safe, and that's all that mattered. I leaned down and gently kissed his forehead, feeling a surge of love and protectiveness towards my little one.

As I sat there, holding Tharros close, I couldn't help but think about how much I loved being a father. The little moments, the big moments - they all blended together to create a sense of purpose and joy that I had never known before.

I looked down at Tharros, still sleeping peacefully in my arms, and felt a deep sense of gratitude. He was my world, and I would do anything to protect him and make him happy.

The cave was quiet, except for the sound of Tharros's gentle breathing and the distant calls of the other family members as they hunted. I sat there, lost in thought, feeling grateful for this life and this family.

As I sat there, I began to think about what I could do to make the rest of the day special for Tharros. Maybe we could go on a adventure, just the two of us, and explore the surrounding caves. Or maybe we could play a game, or have a quiet moment together, just enjoying each other's company.

Whatever it would be, I knew it would be special, because I would be sharing it with my little one. And as I looked down at Tharros's peaceful face, I knew that this was what mattered most - being there for him, and cherishing every moment we had together.

I sighed. "may be go down to this mountain and show our Library all the down to the mountain. I guess even know he never even read a book in his life!"

I smiled, thinking about taking Tharros to the library down the mountain. It would be a special adventure for both of us, and I couldn't wait to see his little face light up as he explored the shelves and discovered new books.

Even if he wasn't ready to read just yet, I knew he'd enjoy the journey and the time spent with me. And who knows, maybe he'd develop a love for books early on. I gently stood up, cradling Tharros in my arms, and began making my way down the mountain towards the library.

The fresh air and scenic views would be good for both of us, and I looked forward to sharing this experience with my little one. As we walked, I hummed softly to Tharros, who was still sleeping peacefully in my arms.

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling a bit groggy from my earlier fall. As I looked up, I saw Father's gentle face smiling down at me. We were moving, and I realized he was carrying me in his arms.

I rubbed my eyes, trying to shake off the sleep. "Where are we going?" I asked, my voice still a bit sleepy.

Father's smile grew wider. "We're going to the library, little one. It's down the mountain, and I think you'll enjoy it."

I looked up at Father, intrigued. The library? I'd heard of it, but never been there before. I snuggled closer to Father, excited for our adventure together.

As we walked down the mountain, the scenery changed, and I saw new sights and sounds. Father pointed out different plants and animals, telling me stories about each one. I listened intently, enjoying the quality time with him.

After a while, I saw a building in the distance. "Is that the library?" I asked, my curiosity growing.

Father nodded. "That's the one, Tharros. Let's go inside and explore."

I ran towards the bookshelves, my eyes wide with excitement. The library was amazing, with so many books and scrolls to explore. I picked up a book and began to flip through its pages, my little fingers tracing over the words.

As I tried to make sense of the text, Father sat down next to me, a warm smile on his face. "I know this is literally your first time reading it, but it is fine!" he said, chuckling.

I didn't really understand what he meant, but I was too engrossed in the book to care. I scrunched up my face in concentration, trying to decipher the words. Father gently guided me, helping me sound out words and explaining the meanings of sentences.

I listened intently, eager to learn. The words on the page started to make more sense, and I began to understand the story unfolding before me. Father's patience and guidance made me feel happy and proud, and I snuggled closer to him as we read together.

The library was quiet, except for the sound of pages turning and Father's soft voice explaining things to me. I felt happy and content, surrounded by books and Father's warm presence.

As I look and read it, Father looks at me in shock, and he question "How can you read it? This is the first time you have ever read in your life!"

I thought to myself 'crap I have to make a good excuse not to make him think that I'm reincarnated. I don't want anyone to know.'

I stared at Father, trying to come up with a believable excuse. "Uh, I... I must have seen some of the dragons in our clan reading this book before, and I picked up some of the words," I said, trying to sound casual.

Father looked at me skeptically, his eyes narrowing slightly. "You memorized an entire book just by watching the dragons?" he asked, his tone doubtful.

I thought quickly, trying to think of a way to deflect his attention. "Well, I've been listening to Mother's stories, and she's always reading to us. Maybe I picked up some of the words from her," I said, hoping that would be a plausible explanation.

Father looked at me thoughtfully, his expression softening slightly. "Maybe you're just a quick learner, Tharros," he said, smiling. I breathed a silent sigh of relief, hoping that I had successfully avoided raising any suspicions.

I smiled back at Father, trying to look innocent and eager to learn. "Yeah, maybe you're right, Father," I said, trying to play it cool. Father chuckled and ruffled my hair, and I felt a sense of relief wash over me.

I know Father can see that I'm lying because every time there are any new dragons I meet, I always hide under his wings no matter how hard he tries to make me talk to the other dragons.

I felt a pang of guilt, knowing that Father could see right through my excuses. He had noticed my shyness around other dragons, and how I always hid under his wings when we met new ones. I couldn't blame him for being skeptical about my sudden ability to read.

I looked down, avoiding Father's gaze. Maybe I wasn't as good at hiding my secrets as I thought. Father's knowing glance made me feel like he could see right into my heart.

I decided to just go with it, hoping that Father wouldn't press the issue further. "Yeah, maybe I'm just a quick learner," I said, trying to sound nonchalant. Father's smile told me that he wasn't entirely convinced, but he let it slide for now.

I looked at Tharros, my mind racing with thoughts. He was hiding something, I was sure of it. The way he effortlessly read the book, his sudden interest in reading... it didn't add up.

I've known Tharros the moment he first hatch, and I've seen him grow into a curious and playful young dragon. But there's something about him that's different, something that sets him apart. His shyness around other dragons, his tendency to hide under my wings... something is scary him.

I smiled at Tharros, trying to put him at ease. But my mind was already working overtime, trying to piece together the mystery of my little one. What was he hiding? And why?

I continued to smile at Tharros, trying to reassure him that everything was okay. But internally, I was determined to get to the bottom of things. I would keep a close eye on him, observe his behavior, and maybe even ask Mother if she had noticed anything unusual.

As we sat there in the library, surrounded by books and scrolls, I wrapped my wing around Tharros, pulling him close. "Let's go back to the nest, little one," I said, trying to sound casual. "We can read more books together another time."

Tharros looked up at me, his eyes searching for any sign of suspicion. But I just smiled and nudged him gently, trying to put him at ease. For now, I would let him think that everything was fine. But I was determined to uncover the truth about my little one.

I nodded. "OK, Father, let go!"

I climbed onto Father's back, holding onto his scales as we prepared to take to the skies. But as Father crouched down, ready to launch into flight, I hesitated. I didn't need his help to fly, but I knew that would raise more questions.

Instead, I wrapped my claws around Father's scales, pretending to need the ride. Father stood up, his wings unfolding as he took to the air. I held tight, feeling the rush of wind against my face as we soared through the skies.

As we flew, I gazed out at the breathtaking view, trying to distract myself from the thoughts swirling in my head. Father's suspicions, my secret, the weight of keeping it hidden... it was all starting to feel overwhelming.

But for now, I just enjoyed the flight, feeling the wind beneath my wings – or rather, beside me, as I rode on Father's back. I knew I couldn't keep up this charade forever, but for now, it was safer this way.

As we arrived, we saw that Mother and my younger siblings didn't return from a hunt and eating breakfast yet.

Father, look at me. "Don't think that I forgot about that in how you can rear even know it the first in your life you have read!" He whispered to my wolf-fox ears.

I felt a shiver run down my spine as Father's words sent a thrill of warning through me. His eyes sparkled with amusement, but also with a hint of determination. I knew that look, and it meant that he wasn't going to let this drop.

I smiled nervously, trying to play it cool. "I don't know what you're talking about, Father," I said, attempting to sound innocent.

But Father just chuckled, his voice low and rumbling. "Don't play dumb with me, Tharros. I'll get to the bottom of this. Mark my words." He ruffled my scales, his claws gently scratching my scalp. I swallowed hard, knowing that the game was far from over.

I let out a whimpering sound to make him feel too bad since he couldn't handle it for me being sad and hurt.

I let out a whimpering sound, trying to tug at Father's heartstrings. But as I looked up at him, I saw a glimmer of knowing in his eyes. He wasn't buying it. He saw right through my attempt to manipulate him.

Father's expression softened slightly, but his determination didn't waver. "Tharros, I'm not trying to hurt you," he said gently. "I just want to understand what's going on. You're a smart kid, and I know there's more to this story."

I sniffled, trying to maintain the act, but Father's words struck a chord. He was right; I was smart, and I knew I had to come up with a better plan to keep my secret safe. For now, I just looked up at him with big, sad eyes, hoping he'd drop the subject. But deep down, I knew it was only a temporary reprieve.

I jumped down and nuzzled Father front left leg.

Father's expression softened further as he looked down at me nuzzling his leg. He reached out with a claw and gently stroked my head, his touch warm and comforting. "It's okay, Tharros," he said softly. "We'll talk about this later. Let's just enjoy the day for now."

I nuzzled his leg again, feeling a mix of relief and wariness. I knew Father wasn't giving up, but for now, I had bought myself some time. I looked up at him, trying to gauge his mood, and Father smiled down at me, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

For a moment, everything felt normal, and I could almost forget about the secrets I was keeping. Almost.

Father seems to be getting forgotten about it, too, by my affection and love towards him.

Father's gaze lingered on me, his eyes softening as he watched me nuzzle his leg. For a moment, his suspicions seemed to fade away, replaced by a warm smile. He scratched behind my ears, and I leaned into his touch, enjoying the gentle affection.

As we stood there, the tension between us dissipated, and Father's focus shifted from uncovering my secret to simply enjoying the moment with me. I could sense his love and affection washing over me, and for now, that was all that mattered.

In that instant, I felt like I'd managed to distract him, and the weight of his curiosity was temporarily lifted. But I knew it wouldn't last forever.

As the moment stretched on, Father's smile grew wider, and he leaned down to nuzzle me gently. I wrapped my tail around his leg, feeling a deep sense of connection and love. For this brief moment, everything felt right with the world.

Just then, Mother and my siblings returned from their hunt, their bellies full and their faces flushed with excitement. "Hey, what's going on here?" Mother asked, eyeing the tender scene between Father and me.

Father chuckled, his eyes never leaving mine. "Just enjoying some quality time with our little one," he said, his voice filled with warmth.

Mother smiled, nodding in understanding. "I'm glad to see that. I'll go start lunch while the kids get cleaned up."

As Mother headed off, my siblings tumbled towards us, chattering excitedly about their hunt. Father and I shared one last look, and I knew that this wasn't the end of our conversation. But for now, I was content to bask in the warmth of our little family's love and affection.
