Lense Legends Ep 8: beyond struggling
The scene opens up with Theodore waking up in his room in the Leviathan building and he wakes up and checks his clock
Theodore: 4:30 am huh? Well.....*gets out of bed slowly and yawns* at least I got "some" sleep *puts on his shirt and pants* anyway seeing as how I'm up I might aswell start cooking for everyone *walks out of his room* those guys.... I swear....they're hopeless sometimes *smiles and starts walking downstairs* *gets a flashback of ulga telling him that he only has two choices comply or die* .....that's right! That Russian lady is supposed to train us today....again.....to become weapons.....*tsk*....DANM IT!! *stops in his tracks PUNCHES WALL* it wasn't supposed to be like this. How could I let this happen. I shou-
He then stops because he now smells something that's cooking well more like burning coming from the kitchen as he was close to it he then wonders who could be up at this hour and he thinks it was someone uninvited so he ran down to check in haste. He then is surprised to see that it was his friends who we're never the type to be up this early and they were all in the kitchen trying to cook something and chattering and arguing among themselves about the food.
Theodore: guys?.... what are you-
Vincent: god danmit! Gin what did I tell ya! I told ya not to let Junior cook cause his burnt ass food would wake theo up.
Gin: me! I didn't even tell him to get near the stove!
Lackey and stacky: Theodore you're awake *they then ran over to him* look here we chopped up some veggies *they then show him a bowl of horrendously cut vegetables*
Theodore: Oh uh....well good job you two
Lackey and stacky: thanks!
Lackey: gin and Vincent wanted to suprise you so we thought we'd help
Stacky: yeah that's why we chopped the vegetables.
Junior: hey! What about me I planned this shit too ya know!
Gin: and surprise ruined 😑.
Vincent: *sighs frustratingly*
Theodore: you guys....*starts smiling* thank you I mean it....thank you for everything.....I love you guys I want you to know that okay.
Everyone then starts feeling happy again and the area feels heartwarming.
Vincent: well shucks *rubs head*
Theodore: so Junior is the food gonna be ready soon?
Junior: yeah I aint gon lie I burnt this shit gang.
Everyone then looks at Junior in pure disbelief.
Vincent: why youuuu!!. *starts chasing Junior with a pan* stop running so I can beat your ass.
Junior: aye yo chill the fuck out cuh!!
She then finally catches Junior and starts beating him with the pan.
Vincent: and stop with that damn voice! I told you to stop watching those knock-off gangster films.
Junior. Ahhhhhh!!! Alright! Alright! Alright! Fine I'll stop! Theo hellllllllp!!
Theodore: it's okay guys don't worry about it I'll cook.
Vincent then stops beating Junior and says okay 👍
Junior: thank you *falls on floor*
Theodore then puts on the apron and approaches the stove and places the pot on it and as he was about to turn the fire on a sudden wave of pressure overcame him and he started sweating profusely and couldn't move at all and he could feel the presence of something behind him something powerful and when he looked around with his eyes he saw that none of his friends were with him it was like they weren't there or he wasn't there. The powerful presence then spoke.
Oro niram: I guess you do look similar to each other but are you really of his blood.
Theodore then wonders what is going on who is this woman, who is she talking to, what is she talking about, he doesn't know. That's what is racing through his head.
Oro niram: let me see your face more. turn around *theo's body then turns around by itself*
Theodore is now face to face with oro niram the philquian alien who is the #2 rank on the round table of superiors and she has brought Theodore into her pocket dimension. She then starts looking at Theodore intensely with her blood red eyes.
Oro niram: ah yes I see it now. But I can't truly tell unless I tast your blood. Now show me your neck boy. *She says in a commanding way*
Theodore's body then starts moving on its own as he pulls away his shirt collar revealing his bare neck and oro then reveals her bare fangs and plunges them into Theodore's neck. And as she's drinking his blood Theodore then starts having flashbacks while in his vegetative state that he's in, about cheri because she was doing practically the same thing by taking advantage of him just in a different way while he couldn't do anything.
Oro then stops and pulls out her fangs out of his neck.
Oro niram: well well well you are of his blood this makes things so much easier *she then grips Theodore by his face and looks him dead in the eyes and says* I'll be seeing you again soon boy and not just me a lot of people will be. *She then Pushes Theodore out of her dimension where Time moves extremely slow and his body puts itself back in the same position it was in right at a time when she snatched him up*
Theodore then fell to the ground breathing heavily and holding his chest as if he was holding his breath forever and his friends who are surprised went to help him to ask him what happened but before they got close enough he ran to the sink and vomited then fell to his knees whilst still breathing heavily.
Lackey and stacky: theo are you okay what's wrong with you? *They said in a worrying tone as they went towards him*
Theodore that looks back with his blurry vision at all of his friends and collapses.
Theodore Then regains Consciousness And jumps Up and realizes he's on The couch With an ice bag on his head and some bandages Because the crew was trying to take care of him. They're all glad that he's finally awake And starts asking him What happened.
Junior: dude your finally awake. We were about to call that Russian lady cause you weren't waking up.
Vincent: yeah. But seriously what happened in there was the gas too strong or something.
Theodore: right about tha- nggh *he holds his head as he felt a slight headache*
Gin: hey, don't push yourself too much you did hit your head hard on the floor.
Theodore: no.....no worries I'll be fine it's just a little headache.
Lackey: so you gonna tell us what happened, huh theo. *She says happily*
Stacky: yeah tell us, tell us
Vincent: hey shut up you two.
Lackey and stacky then stick out there tongue at Vincent.
Lackey and stacky: meanie.
Vincent: hey!
Theodore: the truth is....
Everyone then stops talking and starts listening
Theodore: .....I Don't really know what happened to me.....it was like I was pulled out of the real world and drawn into another one..... a darker one.....and that's when I saw her that woman who works with that Rohan guy.
Junior: wait a minute your not talking about that other superior Oro right? Yknow the philquian? the one who can defy the laws of physics.
Theodore: yes. that was her....*shows bite marks on neck* she did this to me....and I also couldn't move I was wondering what she did to my body. Anything she said it was like it would move on it's own...I couldn't control it.
Vincent: she did what! Wait till I get my hands on her *She says angrily*
Gin: mhmm philquians are like vampires but not your typical ones. They don't necessarily need blood, they can walk in daylight, they don't hiss, and they eat regular food. Right Junior?
Junior: right. But the only reason a philquian would drink blood is either if they want to drink it for the sake of it, look at your past memories, or find out who your related too. So She must Have did it For one of these reasons.
Theodore: well before she left she was saying something like "so you are of his blood" but I don't know what that means she also told me she'll see me soon and others will too.
Junior: mhmm somethings up and I don't like it....we should probably-
Ulga: good morning everyone I hope your all ready for training *she Says as she burst opened the door With A big smile on her face Without even realizing it again*
Ulga: so how about we just- *sees Theodore with bandages on his head*
Vincent: jeez read the room why don't cha
Ulga then rushes over to Theodore while holding him up and looking at his head while saying.
Ulga: tom- uh i mean Theodore what happened. Who did this. Was it that vile little ˈdēmən.
Vincent: hey put him down! And who the hell ya calling a demon.
Theodore: um could you put me down first.
The screen then goes black and appears with everyone all sitting together and them understanding because in that time everything was explained to ulga (like in most anime where they don't want to explain everything over again)
Ulga: *holds hand on her chin* I see....and your certain about this.
Theodore: yeah...I Don't know how it happened but it did.
Ulga: very well. I understand I'll have a talk with oro later.....but before that. You still think your up for training today.
Theodore: yeah sure, no problem
The crew: whaaat!!!
Junior: but isn't your head like hurting you a lot dude!
Theodore: I mean it was. But now the pain's gone for some reason *removes bandages revealing his head is fine*
Junior: *with a comedically widened
mouth* b-b-b-b- but you were just bleeding not too long ago.
Ulga: alright! It is settled then.
Ulga: computer. Training room sector 2 please.
Computer: yes of course ma'am
The computer then teleports them out of their current room into the training room.
Gin and Vincent: how the-
Junior: SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!!!
Ulga: hahaha! My friends their is no need for you all to worry. I just used the computer system to teleport us here you know so we got here faster--
Junior: That's exactly why I'm worrying!!!! *starts checking his body frantically to see if any part of him got stuck in the computer system*
Ulga: okay 😅 *she says looking concerned*
Vincent then looks around and says.
Vincent: so is this where we're going to train it's pretty different than the last one, you know the one where we almost died. *looks at ulga*
Ulga: yes, exactly!
Gin: so when are we gonna start. Wait! We aren't gonna get suprised attacked again are we *he says while on his guard*
Ulga: oh no! Of course not, I would never do that to amateurs.
Gin: yeah right. Like you weren't the one who sent that junio guy to attack us.
Ulga: well yes that part was all me, but I didn't tell him to train you with that much intensity...that was rohan's orders.
Junior: the blonde guy?
Ulga: Yes. So by the time I got there it was already too late. I had to act calm because he was there watching all of you behind that window. *Sigh* but rest assured it won't happen again. Promise.
Gin: *tsk* yeah whatever.
Theodore: so what's up first? For us to learn I mean.
Ulga then Took her sword off her back And yes she did have her sword this whole time. The blue flames burn away at the Cloth covering the sword and she plunges it into the ground saying.
Ulga: Well before we start with anything Practical It is important To know as much As you can about the theory. So before we start I'll explain some very Key things That you should all know, now that your lense wielders.
A holographic screen then appears behind of ulga.
Ulga: now pay close attention.
The others then look at the holographic screen with curiosity but also skepticism.
Ulga: lenses are made from dead deity carcasses as I'm sure most of you know, but yours. The ones that integrated with you they're a different story because the deities yours came from were anomalies, so I will be trying to teach you everything I can but how it will affect is something I'm not sure about. Do you all understand?
Theodore: yeah
Vincent: sure whatever.
Junior: I think so
Gin: yeah I guess
Lackey and stacky: huh?
Ulga: well I guess those were good enough answers. Anyway let me now explain to you how your abilities work.
Theodore: abilities?
Ulga: yes! Abilities, I'm sure you all realize that you are not regular humans anymore.
Everyone then starts looking a little worried / nervous
Ulga: now listen. The powers you get from the lenses can be alot of things but for the most part it's just 2 abilities these include an elemental one and one that defies the laws of physics and/or nature, sometimes in rare cases a person can have 3 but no one has been recorded with more than that.
Junior: hey question?
Ulga: yes.
Junior: when you say defy the laws of physics and/or nature what kind of powers are we talking about in that regard?
Ulga: things like teleportation, time manipulation, telekinesis, gravity control, super speed, electrokinesis, technology manipulation, chlorokinesis, intangibility and etc
Gin: wow that's some serious stuff, Junior what do you th-
Junior:
Gin: uh- nevermind
Ulga: sometimes people can even bring themselves back to life like my uncle when he was alive but then again there was a limit to how much he could use it.
Theodore's internal monolog: wait. Come back to life. Why does that, why does it, sound so nggh.
*flashback*
*Fast running footsteps* *gunshots* *shouting*
The scene then shows Theodore and a random man or so it seems running through the streets of gridlock being chased by some Goons when he was younger.
Theodore: uncle Benjamin they're catching up *he says breathing heavily*
Benjamin: danmit! *Heavy breathing* quick in here.
They Then ran into an abandoned building and up the the third floor but the goons didn't notice and kept looking for them.
Benjamin: *peeps out of the window of the third floor and sees the goons* they have to lose interest soon.
But right as the goons were about to give up they interrogated a civilian that saw Benjamin and she sold him out. The goons then look up and notices Benjamin faster than he could move away from the window and they started going in the building.
Benjamin: shit she snitched.
Theodore: uncle Ben what should we do?
Benjamin: theo listen I need you to go in that closet and don't come out until I tell you to okay
Theodore: b-b-but i-
Benjamin: do you understand! Theo do you understand!
Theodore: yes
Benjamin: Great now go! Quick!
Theodore then goes and hides in the closet and Benjamin stands at the door ready with his weapon in hand. As soon as the goons came close to the door Benjamin kicked it open and started shooting at the goons rapidly while shouting taking out a few of them but it wasn't enough and their shots were more than his causing him to get incredibly wounded by gunshots falling to the ground leaking blood everywhere and Theodore is watching this through the closet Gap unable to say anything.
Goon 1: god danmit the son of a bitch got me in the arm *kicks Ben's lifeless body*
Goon 2: well at least he's dead now, so the boss can finally get off our backs. I'm gonna call him to tell him k and hey someone patch this guy up, his arms bleeding everywhere.
Goon 2: *on the phone* yeah he's dead we got his body right here.....wait so you just want us to leave him here.....okay anything you say Mr Guiles.
Goon 2: alright everyone jobs done let's move out.
The goons then leave the premises. And Theodore is in the closet trying not to cry while holding his mouth trying not to throw up either and then he comes out of the closet and walks towards Benjamin's body but before he could fully reach to his body Benjamin's body started to Twitch and his eyes began to grow and the wounds he suffered from started to heal rapidly and in a matter of seconds there weren't any wounds on his body just bloodstains and he got up but with like this ghost version of him coming out of his body and disappearing.
Benjamin: *looking like he's in pain* shit im running out of time.
Theodore: uncle?
Benjamin: Theodore *hugs theo* thank god your alive.
Theodore: what just happ-
Vincent: hey theo!
*Snaps out of flashback*
Vincent: you good
Theodore: *shakes his head* yeah I'm good
Vincent: ok, it's just that you missed out alot.
Theodore: Oh sorry I guess I dozed off there.
Vincent: no worries, we can fill you back in later anyways.
Ulga: and now for the founding-
Computer: ulga Ramoni your presence is required by the superiors for a mission.
Ulga: what!! Ughhh of all the times.
Computer: they want you now.
Ulga: alright, alright tell them I'm on my way.
Computer: *beep*
Ulga: alright guys unfortunately this will be all for today. But don't worry!! Next time we'll be training practically and I'll make it fun.
Older than makes the computer send the crew back to their quarters and when they reach their she says through the computer.
Ulga: as you can see I left booklets on the kitchen counter for each one of you read them over to gain more knowledge that I couldn't get to tell you today okay bye.
Vincent: Great homework *she says sarcastically* you know I've never been one for studying.
Junior: *chuckles* tell me something I don't know.

The scene then Cuts to night and everyone is asleep except theo. Theo is in his bed with Vincent because she snuck in to sleep beside him like she always does but Theo is on the edge of his bed looking over his booklet and he sees a picture with Jonathan Jones and his wife and his brother Theodore then looked at Jonathan Jones's brother more closely and thought he looked familiar to Uncle Benjamin but younger with black hair so we picked up a white crayon pencil and colored Jonathan's Brothers Hair white and that's when he realized that it wasn't just a similar look that was his uncle that was Uncle Benjamin when he was young.
Theodores internal monolog: uncle Benjamin....Seriously what the hell is going on! *He says looking shocked*
