Thor looked at Loki's illusion and smiled mockingly.
"What do you want me to say? You faked your own death... You plotted to steal the throne! You took away Odin's power! You left him to die on Earth!" Thor listed off. "Finally, the Goddess of Death was freed! Wasn't that enough? Or do you want me to continue talking about what happened two days ago?"
Loki was somewhat speechless. He knew he was wrong, but now was not the time to discuss it. "Listen, I've never met the champion he's talking about! But I've heard he's incredibly brutal and merciless! I'm placing a huge bet on your opponent tomorrow! Don't let me down!"
When Thor heard this, he immediately picked up a glass bottle from the ground and threw it at him. Loki said no more, dispelling the illusion and departing.
Hearing the commotion, Korg rushed over and kicked the wall. "Get out of here, monster!" On the other side, Miek with the twin blades also rushed over. Korg looked around, puzzled, "He just disappeared!"
The scene changed. Outside an arena, two soldiers dragged a defeated contestant off the field. Inside, the contestants were separated by laser barriers, selecting their weapons.
"Disgusting! There's hair and blood all over it! Guys, could you please wipe your weapons after you use them? You savages!" Korg held a weapon and complained.
Thor picked up a knife, weighed it, and put it down, unsatisfied.
Korg saw him. "Oh! Thor! Would you like a wooden fork?"
Thor shook his head. "No!"
"That's right! This thing is useless besides poking three vampires!" Korg replied.
Looking at the tattered weapons, Thor couldn't help but think of Mjolnir. "If only I still had my hammer!" He picked up a dagger. "A very special hammer! It's made of a special metal from the core of a dying star! When I swing it really fast, it can make me fly!"
Korg imagined the scene and couldn't help but ask, "You ride on a hammer?"
"No! I'm not riding on the hammer!"
He then asked, "The hammer rides on your back?"
"No! No! I swung it very fast, and it...it would take me off..."
Before he could finish, Korg had already imagined the scene. "Oh! My God! Can it take off your clothes?"
Thor had to correct him: "Get me off the ground! Get me up in the air, and then I'll fly! Every time I throw it, it automatically flies back to my hand!"
"It sounds like you and the hammer had a very special relationship! Very intimate! Losing it would be like losing the love of your life!"
Thor turned his head and glanced at him. "You've summarized it well!"
On the other side of the barrier, Valkyrie was leaning against a bar with a bottle of wine, talking to some soldiers. "I said they were mine!"
Thor saw her and said to Korg, "She's the one who brought me here!"
"Oh! Yeah! Scavenger 142, you gotta watch out for those Asgardians! Man! They can't die!" Korg warned.
Thor was a little surprised. "Asgardian?" He watched as Valkyrie scraped the bottle with a knife, using the sparks to ignite the wine. He never imagined she was an Asgardian.
He came to the barrier and shouted to Valkyrie, "Hey! Hey!"
Valkyrie saw him and immediately took out the remote control. "Hi!"
Seeing the remote, Thor immediately stopped and warned, "Don't touch me with that thing again! I want to say something!"
Valkyrie placed the remote control on the table. Seeing that she had no intention of electrocuting him, Thor immediately said, "Asgard is in imminent danger!" Valkyrie ignored him, blew out the flame on the bottle, and took a sip of wine. As she drank, she raised her arm to reveal an icon, and Thor immediately recognized her identity.
"My God! You're a Valkyrie! Did you know? I always wanted to be a Valkyrie when I was a kid!"
-Real World-
"Hahaha! I kind of like this stone man!" Tony couldn't help laughing.
Captain America said sarcastically: "Loki always only knows how to scheme these kinds of things. Can't he fight the enemy honestly?"
"Maybe it's because of the environment he grew up in that he's accustomed to hiding his thoughts? Unlike Thor, who would just declare what he wants to do!" Natasha mused. "Thor definitely won't act according to his ideas. That's not his style. He will only defeat his opponent fairly and then leave this planet! Although I think that's not very realistic!"
"Why?" Pietro looked at Natasha with confusion.
Nick Fury said calmly: "Because if I were the Grandmaster and Thor won the battle, I would be even less likely to let him go. He's a much more powerful warrior." He continued, "But doing so will likely damage my reputation. So if Thor can truly win, I believe that the Grandmaster will definitely stop this battle from continuing! At any cost!"
Scott shook his head: "It's really dark! Does that mean Thor had no hope from the beginning?"
"I think it's very likely! It's unrealistic for him to rely on the so-called championship match to escape from here. He has to find another way!" Natasha concluded.
"This stone man is so funny! His train of thought is really beyond the reach of most people!" Looking at Korg thinking wildly on screen, Banner couldn't help laughing.
Rhodes also complained: "He actually thinks the hammer can take off Thor's clothes. It's really outrageous!"
"Thor must miss his hammer, just like the West can't live without Jerusalem! He can't live without his hammer either!"
Tony smiled. The Thor on the sky screen could only be called the God of Hammers. The real Thor was the one in their universe. During battle, he could throw his hammer out and lend it to Natasha without hesitation, and fight only with his fists, but still fully exert his power as the God of Thunder. He wasn't the Hammer God on screen who relied on a hammer to exert his power.
Comparing the two, Tony felt that the gap between them was huge. Their strengths and mindsets were completely different.
