The scene opened in a vibrant alien bar, pulsing with strange music and filled with various beings drinking and dancing. The Grandmaster had brought Thor here.
"My name is the Grandmaster, and I operate a little entertainment called the Contest of Champions!" the Grandmaster announced. "The participants are all unwilling individuals who arrive from across the cosmos!" He pointed at Thor. "And you! My friend! You will be the newest contestant! What do you think?"
Thor denied his statement firmly: "We are not friends! I have no interest in your barbaric games! I am returning to Asgard!"
"Such a feisty one!" The Grandmaster scratched his ear, smiling with amusement. He seemed unconcerned by Thor's words; on Sakaar, Thor's preferences were completely irrelevant. He began dancing to the rhythmic music.
As Thor surveyed his surroundings, he unexpectedly spotted a familiar figure. A voiceover played, seemingly from the figure: "I realized I had to make a choice! There happened to be a wormhole in spacetime beneath me! At that moment, I let go!"
Thor smiled with delight and shouted, "Loki? Loki! Loki! Come here! Come here!"
When Loki observed Thor being restrained in a chair, the smile on his face instantly vanished. He rose gracefully from his seat, smiled at the person beside him, and said, "Excuse me! I'll be departing for a moment!"
"Loki! Over here!" Thor called anxiously.
Loki approached and immediately gestured for silence. Thor looked at him with confusion. "What?"
Loki appeared somewhat surprised. "You're still alive?"
"Yes! Of course I'm still alive!" Thor replied. "What are you doing here?"
"What am I doing here? I'm trapped in this chair! Where's your chair?"
"I don't have a chair!" Loki stated.
"Help me out! Get me out of here!" Thor pleaded.
Loki shook his head regretfully. "I can't!"
"What did you say?"
Loki began to explain his circumstances. "He and I became good friends! His name is the Grandmaster!"
"Oh! He's a lunatic!!!" Thor recalled with visible horror the moment the Grandmaster had melted Carlo.
Loki continued, "I had his assistance! The Rainbow Bridge brought me here weeks ago!"
Thor was surprised. "A few weeks ago?!"
Loki nodded seriously. "Yes!"
"I just arrived!" Thor said, confused. They had both departed the Rainbow Bridge together, so why was there such a significant temporal gap?
The Grandmaster noticed the secretive behavior between the two brothers. "What are you whispering about?"
Thor was startled by his approach. The Grandmaster coughed lightly and explained, "Time works differently in these places! In other worlds, I might be millions of years old! But on Sakaar..." At this point, the Grandmaster smiled shyly and glanced at Loki, as if to imply that he remained very youthful. "Anyway, you need to understand this! Did you just call yourself the Lord of Thunder?"
"God of Thunder! You tell him!" Thor said to Loki with exasperation.
Loki immediately distanced himself from the matter. "I've never seen this person in my life!"
"He's my brother!" Thor insisted.
Loki stated calmly, "We are not related by blood!"
The Grandmaster asked, "Is he suited for combat?"
Thor looked at him and smiled. "Remove this device from my neck and I'll demonstrate if it's true!"
The Grandmaster laughed. "Listen! He's threatening me! Hey! Little Spark! Let's make a deal! If you want to return to that... As-gard place!"
"ASGARD!!!" Thor corrected him.
The Grandmaster remained indifferent. "Any challenger who defeats my champion will earn freedom!"
"Very well! Then tell me quickly, where is my opponent? Have him come forward!!!" Thor urged impatiently.
"This is what a challenger should be like!" The Grandmaster said, satisfied with Thor's attitude. He retrieved a remote and declared, "Your opponent is waiting! Let's go! Lord of Sparks!"
"Loki!!!" Thor shouted, but Loki simply watched in silence as he was taken away.
The scene shifted. Thor was thrown into a chamber. He rose immediately and rushed toward the door, pounding against it.
A stone figure behind him spoke. "Hey! Hey! Relax! Man! Look over here! These rocks are greeting you!"
Thor turned to regard him and approached.
The stone man muttered to himself, "Yeah! I'm alive! I'm alive! Let me introduce myself! My name is Korg! I'm the leader here!" He gestured to his body. "My body is made of rock, you can see that! But don't be frightened! You're not scissors! It's just a rock-paper-scissors joke!"
He stood up, and the alien sitting beside him also rose, revealing two sharp blades fixed in a scissor configuration on his hands.
Korg pointed at his companion. "This is my best friend! His name is Miek! He's an insectoid with two blade-hands!" Miek swung his blades twice.
"Are you a Kronan warrior?" Thor asked the chattering stone being.
"That's correct!"
"How did you end up here?"
Korg began to walk and talk, with Thor following him. "Well! I wanted to start a revolution, but I didn't print enough pamphlets, so hardly anyone showed up! Except for my mom and her boyfriend! The people I hate most!" He added, "As punishment, I was sent here to become a gladiator!" He still felt that he had inadequately handled publicity. "To summarize, my marketing campaign was poorly executed! But actually, I'm planning another one."
-Real World-
Observing the Grandmaster's shy expression, Rhodes couldn't help but grumble: "Is he trying to suggest that he just turned eighteen?"
Tony pondered what the Grandmaster had revealed. "Time flows differently... Loki only departed the Rainbow Bridge slightly earlier than Thor, but in that brief interval, he still arrived on Sakaar weeks before Thor! This planet is fascinating!"
Scott felt quite impressed by Loki's adaptability: "Loki is remarkably capable. He can thrive wherever he goes!"
Natasha nodded: "Indeed! The same occurred with Thanos. He could even use his persuasive abilities to lead an army against Earth!"
