Both Aphrodite and Takemikazuchi were now staring at Ema. She was floating unconscious in an underground lake.
She was still bleeding profusely, but due to this simple fact, something strange was happening.
The blood leaving Ema's broken and burnt body was surrounding her, as if a mystical force was acting, the blood leaving her body is now simultaneously re-entering her.
Though this was shocking, it could not be compared to the thing hovering above her. There were countless bolts of white lightning shooting towards Ema.
However, no matter how much the bolts of lightning were trying, a shield of energy was blocking them from entering the underground lake.
As the lightning fruitlessly attempted a bombardment on the barrier, a deep voice resounded shocking the watching gods.
"Strange one... I see you have undergone a great deal of suffering to enter my abode." Jade green eyes shone from the darkness within the cave.
Those words left Takemikazuchi stunned. In all his time undergoing his own trial, he had never seen any other sentient being within the trial.
Now he was shaken, how on earth did something slip into the world he created? Apart from gods even more powerful than himself, nothing should have the power to enter his private world.
Even if those gods can force their way in, he would have felt the intrusion. So there are now only two plausible explanations, the first is that a god realms above him in strength forced their way in and repaired the broken space before he even knew what happened.
Or a being with space-related abilities sneaked into his realm and made it its home.
The scariest part about this whole situation? It was the environment, a simple example is Ema. Within a few minutes of entering the trial location, she was basically beaten and battered within an inch of her life.
A being that can effortlessly survive in this hazardous land could only mean that this entity was something powerful.
As Takemikazuchi was having an internal breakdown, a giant green claw slowly stretched out from the darkness, inching towards Ema slowly.
Aphrodite, being completely done watching her friend suffer and now having this unknown being that even made Takemikazuchi her stupid 'friend' quivering in fear, she lost all her restraints.
Hot pink power exploded from Aphrodite at the centre. She then grabbed Takemikazuchi by the neck and, without any delay used her charm on him to the maximum degree.
The result was quite devastating as the once proud and mighty thunder god was now just a horny animal in heat. Not caring about what she had done, she forced him to throw her into the trial as well.
Not even a second later she was now also in the trial realm. Not wasting a second use used the item she gave Ema to track her location.
Yes, once upon a time in the endless wars, the protective goddess gave her friend a bracelet that had some defensive properties.
What she didn't say was that it too had a tracking function, allowing her to find Ema's location upon using an incantation.
As Aphrodite chanted the incantation, several bolts of deadly lightning descended and attempted to strike down the fairest goddess.
Emphasis on the word 'attempted', the goddess did not even bother looking up at the descending danger as she continued.
And just as the bolts were about to reach her, they all froze in mid-air.
The sheer amount of power radiating from Aphrodite was so intense that it froze the bolts in place.
Aphrodite narrowed her eyes dangerously as she discovered that Ema was in a separate dimension from the one she was currently in.
