Both Shik and Epoch are capable of travelling boundless distances , distances that transcend space itself but for a law applied by the writer of the story they can't travel to the land beyond . Hence the shuttle is needed.
In the shuttle Shik and Epoch are thinking whether the increase in the number of Cirs and Phenomenas is related to humanoid beings .
Shik says,"My friend, as you know the humanoid figures are genetic mutations, with their shurmex not completely absorbed like ours ."
Then Epoch says," this could be related to the rise in the number of phenomena in a way that these humanoids are new to reality and can be easily trapped in a fake reality ,but with Cirs it makes no sense ."
As they converse their spherical ship with two point protrusion like legs on each side facing the opposite arrives at the space station at land beyond .
As soon as they arrive they are informed by the staff there that the Eplix contacted them and that Phinx is missing .
This concerned both of them and they immediately teleported to Phinx and saw him fighting someone they used their powers to see it was a Cir .
That made no sense but sense is something to be concerned of later as in this moment Saving Phinx is important .
Epoch and Shik deduct that this Cir in terms of power is equal to Phinx thus they are both cancelling each other but what if they attack the Cir it would kill it .
So Shik and Epoch fly behind the hooded Cir and punch a hole through it thus leading to it's death .
Then they reach to Phinx but he immediately shuts by saying he is fine and the Eplix is carrying something .
