Feng Xi, unable to resist, set aside the string of seven-colored Buddhist beads.
Seeing that string of seven-colored Buddhist beads, Xin Lin felt a bit guilty.
Last time, she had extracted auspicious energy from the beads, enhancing her meridians.
Uncertain whether Monk Fengxi had discovered it or not.
"Your Highness, Princess, men and women should not sit together at the age of seven."
Feng Xi glanced at the bright face before him and advised.
"That's a saying for outsiders. You and I are family, no need to be so formal."
Xin Lin not only didn't retreat, but she also picked up a piece of pastry nearby and took a bite.
Just one bite and Xin Lin's lovely eyebrows moved, instantly feeling a burst of flavors on her pallet.
"Delicious! Monk Fengxi, who would've thought? You appear so humble normally, but you eat so lavishly. Even the pastries from the Fuzhou Imperial Palace aren't as tasty as these."
