Yun Sheng's Elf Karmic Fire could not only be used to refine intermediate to advanced Elixirs and Magic Potions but also had another important use, which was Artifact Refining.
After all, the price of a Magic Artifact was much higher than that of a bottle of Elixir.
Dark Medicine Pavilion monopolized the local market of Elixirs and Magic Potions, but they did not monopolize Magic Artifacts. Yun Sheng noticed that there were quite a few Magic Tools Stores selling high-level Magic Artifacts. Selling Magic Artifacts was indeed a very good idea.
However, Yun Sheng also considered that Artifact Refining was different from Alchemy. For example, to craft a Magic Wand one would need Demon Beast Bone and Demon Beast Soul Stone.
Yun Sheng didn't have the materials on hand for these.
