Adam Willow had heard of Dr. X's name back when he was an undergraduate.
He knew that Dr. X was very prestigious both domestically and internationally.
When he was a graduate student, he had made up his mind that if he ever pursued a PhD, he would definitely want Dr. X as his doctoral advisor.
Unfortunately, Dr. X had been too busy over the years, and invitations from famous medical schools both in China and abroad flooded in, asking him to be a doctoral advisor. He turned them all down.
