"The footsteps left by Heramus..."
Ronan recovered from his brief daze and felt the subtle tremors emanating from the Rune of Magic Control in his consciousness space, observing the deep purple crystal scales beyond the Inheritance Pillar.
He wanted to reach out and touch it, yet it felt so impossibly distant.
The golden badge lent to him by Heliodor only granted him access to the fourth layer of the Hidden Pavilion, but he couldn't take anything nor read through it.
It was clearly a ploy, tempting him with a "big pie," to ensure he worked more diligently and exerted himself in the future.
"Since Heliodor used this to 'tempt' me, he must have a way to truly present it to me.
I just need to peacefully fulfill my role as his pharmacy assistant..."
Ronan contemplated his attitude in front of Heliodor moving forward.
He shouldn't show too much desire for Heramus's inheritance, lest he becomes easy to control.
