Tang Tang was awakened by the slight sway of the motorhome.
Last night, she followed Dou Dou to chase fireflies in the wheat field, and rolled and frolicked in the space capsule, so exhausted that she fell asleep as soon as she hit the bed. She slept particularly deeply, even her dreams were filled with the aroma of the wheat field and the images of her little friends running.
She opened her eyes groggily, her fingertips unconsciously grazing the soft mattress below her, until the sunlight filtered through the gaps in the motorhome's curtains, casting a warm spot on the back of her hand, finally dragging her completely out of slumber.
As a mute and deaf person, she can't hear the birds chirping outside the window, nor the sound of wind blowing through the wheat leaves, yet she can sense temperature changes through touch and capture the movement of light through sight.
Tang Tang rubbed her sleepy eyes, her little head nuzzling against the pillow, glancing around.
