Previously, while cultivating by the Gen River, he secretly planned to, upon completing his task, use the Ice River Escape technique to speed southeast along the Gen River, getting as far away as possible.
But plans couldn't keep up with changes; bringing an extra person significantly increased the consumption of energy. He feared that within two days, his True Qi would be exhausted. If they were caught or encountered unforeseen circumstances, they wouldn't have the power to resist and could only surrender.
So, Tie Dan decisively changed his plan, turned north, swam along the Huan River, then veered northeast into the territory of Kan Country.
