Luna has been in a terrible mood lately...
Even though her dad had all her little companions brought to her, Luna still can't lift her spirits every day.
Watching Balang irritably shoo away two pesky bear cubs, then roaring as he herds a pack of half-grown wolf pups into a cage, Luna sits on the grass with her chin in her hands, looking at the Yukon River in front of her, and plaintively says, "Daria, I miss my dad..."
When Daria hears this, she takes off the black-framed glasses from her face, closes her notebook, and forces a smile as she says, "What's wrong? Not having fun?
All your friends are here..."
Luna smooths her messy hair and looks at Daria, saying, "Does dad not want me anymore?"
The image of her boss's current condition flashes through Daria's mind, and with a bitter smile, she says, "How could he not want you? He's just sick right now, so he asked me to stay here to take care of you.
Trust me, as soon as he gets better, he'll come to see you first thing!"
