Chu Ge first went to the ward where Lian Chengyu stayed. Inside the building, on the walls, there were bloodstains everywhere, and in some places, there was even black water.
The marks of the black water emitted a sour stench of corpse rot, and getting closer made it even more pungent.
Chu Ge covered his mouth and nose, passed directly through the chaotic corridor, and then entered the ward belonging to Lian Chengyu, where his belongings were still present but overturned in disorder.
What surprised Chu Ge somewhat was that in the room, there were also traces of black water and blood on the walls, and the rotten stench was even more intense inside.
Chu Ge circled around the room and, finding nothing of note, decided to go check elsewhere.
Suddenly, his gaze was drawn to a gray shoe print on the windowsill; Chu Ge walked over to have a look. The shoe print was rather large, roughly a normal person's footprint.
