Lin Fei saw the children continually getting out of the cars around him and felt somewhat relieved. He turned his head and drove away directly toward Mu Hong's home.
Familiar with the route, Lin Fei soon arrived at Mu Hong's house; it was morning, and Mu Hong seemed not to have eaten breakfast yet. Aunt Lan was cooking, while Mu Hong was watering the flowers and plants in the courtyard, their days seemingly leisurely.
"Dad!" Lin Fei stepped forward, pushed open the door, and greeted.
"Lin Fei is here? Where are those two little ones?" Mu Hong, upon seeing Lin Fei, glanced behind him and noticed that the two children didn't seem to have come along.
The two elderly often cared for the two children, deepening their affection for them. Upon seeing Lin Fei, Mu Hong immediately asked, concerned about the children's well-being.
"They went to school. Today, I just came to see how you two are doing here, whether you need anything. If you do, I'll prepare it for you," Lin Fei said.
