Chapter 6 - Ch 6: Breaking limits !

Ever since Drake created the Diver Helmet, a dangerous, god-defying, law-breaking idea had taken root in his mind—settling there like a tumor that refused to be removed.

As days passed and years slipped by, that idea became permanent, consuming his thoughts completely. He gradually withdrew from the world, cutting himself off from everyone—his own family included.

Drake had made up his mind: he would accept nothing less than proving his idea as an absolute truth, a living example. And so, his experiment began. He poured fifty seven years of accumulated knowledge into this insane pursuit, even though he had no idea whether it would succeed before his life came to an end.

Still, he pressed on—studying every nerve of the human brain, every neural pathway, and the entire working system of the mind.

He developed countless theories, yet each one revealed some fatal flaw. Every failure forced him to start again, diving deeper into the smallest details.

At an age when anyone else would have retired and enjoyed life, Drake's mind demanded only one thing: an age that would never end, a body that would never fall ill, stamina that would never fade. He wanted to transcend humanity itself—to become something else, something like an AI.

The idea had first taken hold when he created the Diver Helmet, and it grew so powerful that it transformed him into a mad scientist, obsessed beyond reason. To him, this idea had to succeed—no matter the cost.

Driven by that unhinged determination, Drake went for days without sleep, conducting experiments in his personal laboratory—hidden from the world, unknown even to his own family. He was completely alone in this forbidden research.

And at last, his efforts bore fruit.

He had devoted half his life to this idea. For years, his expression had remained unchanged—but now, success finally showed on his face. His eyes gleamed with self-admiration, his mind filled with pride and triumph.

When the theory to convert himself into an AI mind was finally complete, Drake had reached the final stage of the human age limit. With a weak, fading voice, he gently issued a command:

"Shirley… place me into the tube. Carefully and Very gently."

[ Yes Master]

There was fear behind his words. If, in his haste, he gave even a slightly incorrect command, his life could end instantly.

By now, his life had become like a thin, frayed thread—so fragile that even a small gust of wind could snap it. One mistake would mean death..

A year earlier, he had issued unclear commands to his AI assistant, Shirley, through the AI machine hands, and those vague instructions had injured his body. Now, he could not afford even the smallest risk.

Two AI mechanical arms were attached to the ceiling, completely motionless. Shirley had already activated the sensors of those arms, and when the wavelength of Drake's command reached their sensors, they activated instantly—almost as if they had come alive. With gentle, precise, and highly professional movements, they lifted Drake and carefully placed him into the tube.

"Video recording on."

Lying inside the tube, Drake gave the voice command and began recording his life experiences and a few final words.

If this experiment succeeded and his brain was converted into an AI—and if, during the process, his personality changed or he forgot who he once was—then his lifetime of effort would be wasted. But if this video recording helped him remember his past life, his experiment would be a hundred percent successful.

"Start copying my brain nervous system."

[ Command accepted ]

The tube slid into a massive Nano Magnetic Resonance Imaging (N-MRI) machine.

All AI systems powered up. On the screens, the detailed structure of Drake's internal brain began to appear—so precise that with a single zoom, one could instantly understand how the nervous system functioned.

An adult human brain weighs roughly 1,300 to 1,400 grams, yet within that tiny space exist nearly 86 billion cells—so many that even if humanity were to reach the end of its lifespan, counting them all would still be impossible.

If a person tried to count one cell every second—without eating, sleeping, urinating, or doing anything else—it would take 2,725 years. A task that is permanently impossible.

Now, inside Drake's brain were nano-cells, each three times smaller than natural brain cells. These nano-cells were entering every original brain cell and copying them perfectly—down to the smallest detail.

His emotions, expressions, dreams, desires, knowledge—every single thing he had experienced in his life—every feeling he had ever sensed—was being duplicated.

A complete, flawless copy of his brain was being printed inside the N-MRI machine.

Within five hours, a complete copy of his brain was displayed on the screens.

"This is the final and most difficult stage."

Understanding the gravity of the situation, Drake issued his final command.

"Start extraction of nano brain cells."

[ Command accepted ]

The moment Drake gave the command , his consciousness began to fade. On the screens, billions of nano-cells started moving simultaneously. As a powerful extraction force was applied to the nano-cells embedded within the brain cells, they began to tear themselves free from inside the original cells.

This movement caused damage to the brain cells—but Drake could do nothing. His consciousness had already slipped into a temporary coma state.

All 86 billion copied nano brain cells began traveling into the N-MRI machine through a thin, precise tube. Inside the upper section of the machine, a complete structural framework of Drake's brain had already been prepared—empty and waiting.

One by one, the copied nano brain cells entered that structure, fitting perfectly into their designated positions, exactly as the original brain had been formed.

Within a single hour, a god-defying breakthrough was achieved—one that bent the very laws of nature. The human brain had been transformed into an Artificial Brain.

[ Warning!… Warning!… An unknown error has been detected in the Virtual space .]

The lights of the N-MRI machine—which had always remained green, a sign that it had never shown a single defect or failure—suddenly began flashing red. At the same time, ERROR messages appeared across the screens.

[ ERROR ]

[ The system is entering reboot mode.]

When Drake decided to begin this experiment, he knew he would need an assistant—one that could support him throughout the process while also maintaining absolute privacy.

Using his own personal funds, he built a completely private network and, within that network, created the AI assistant Shirley.

Now, Shirley is Drake Toddler's AI assistant, equipped with 60 percent high-level intelligence, making her the most advanced artificial intelligence in the entire Nexus world.

She is so advanced that she can make certain decisions on her own. And since Drake had already abandoned his human body and his Artificial Mind was currently in a coma-like state, he was unaware of what was happening and unable to issue any commands.

Assessing the situation on her own, Shirley, with her 60 percent high intelligence, decided to reboot the entire system network.

[ Reboot successful... ]

After conducting a detailed internal scan of all AI machines, it brought itself back online.

[ Procedure initiated: Transferring the Artificial Brain to the Master's residence ]

A virtual mansion—one that Drake had prepared long in advance—awaited him. If the experiment succeeded, this private virtual estate would serve as his sanctuary, a place where he could rest and plan what to do next.

Following the commands already given, Drake's personal AI assistant began transferring his AI brain into that very mansion.

While Drake's AI brain remained inside the N-MRI machine, the pressure kept it trapped in a coma-like state. But the moment it passed through the N-MRI system and entered the virtual space , that pressure vanished. The newly formed Artificial Brain was finally free and.....

The nano brain cells of the AI mind activated and began to glow. From that radiant core, extremely fine, delicate neural strands slowly extended outward, shaping themselves into a human form. Within nearly five minutes, the complete internal framework of a human body took shape, and soon after, skin began forming over it.

White hair appeared on the head, a white beard covered the face, and the skin took on the fragile texture of an eighty-year-old man.

After a full ten minutes, an eighty-year-old Drake Toddler was reborn—formed through a virtual nano-mechanism ,fully restored and rebooted.

[ Congratulations, Master, on being completely reborn. ]

Standing before him, his AI assistant offered her congratulations.
