Leah walked into her new classroom a bit nervous, She had already gotten a headache due to overthinking. As she observed her surroundings, her mind could only confess one thing, BEAUTY. The school itself was very large and grand, of course an elite school like Lane High will definitely contain lots of rich students in it. Leah noticed that the class was filled with students not less than 15. "Maybe because if was the first day of resumption so they were probably chatting with friends", she thought. Well whatever it was she was grateful there wouldn't be much attention directed at her but she was proved wrong almost immediately, UH OH
One thing Leah Kevin didn't like was attention, especially not from school it made her feel nervous and embarrassed.
As soon as she took the fourth step in, everyone turned to see the unfamiliar figure who stepped in. Then came the chatter..
" Who's that?"
" Wooaahhh we got a new student?"
" She's kinda hot".
" Awwn cute pie".
" She's dark".
" Ugh another burden? "
" Why's she so slim?, she looks nice though"
And so onnnnn
She simply ignored them and moved towards the back of the class, not like she knew where she was even going. Her body just worked without permission.
" You can sit here, it's empty", A voice said politely referring to her. Leah turned to see a really beautiful white girl, smiling sweetly at her. She had long cream blonde hair, glowing brown eyes and pink lips; she was indeed pretty.
" Hellooo?", The girl called out waving her hands in front of Leah's eyes as if to bring her back to reality.
" Oh sorry, where?"
" I meant there", She replied pointing at a particular direction.
" Thank you so much, I really appreciate it", Lee said nicely.
" You're welcome. I'm Mila by the way", Mila replied. " And it's nice to meet you .... Who?"
" Oh sorry I'm Leah, you can call me Lee".
" Oh ok nice to meet you Em", Mila replied this time extending her hands for a shake.
" Thank you so much and nice to meet you too Mila ", said Leah after the hand shake. She was glad someone was nice to her, it made her loosen up a little, maybe the school wasn't that bad. She couldn't conclude yet after all this was just one nice student out of a hundred or even more than right? Sigh
" Milllllllllaaaaaaa been looking for ya everywhere, you just left without telling me I was ... Woah are you new ?", Asked Kelly caught off guard after seeing an unfamiliar face in the classroom.
" Obviously silly", Mila answered her.
" Awwn isn't she cute? So good to have one dark girl in our midst right?", Kelly asked her best friend while admiring the new girl.
" Yeah I know. Sorry I went off without telling", She apologised.
" You're forgiven", Replied Kelly playfully.
" And you are?", She asked.
" Oh hi, I'm Emily", Lee told her with a smile on her face.
" Nice to meet you Leah I'm Kelly", She smiled.
" Nice to meet you too Kelly ".
" Welcome to L.H.S. new girl", Kelly said playfully and they chuckled.
The sound of the bell was heard at the moment and everyone started walking out.
" Sorry where are they all going?", Leah asked her new 'friends'.
" It's time for the assembly we gotta go now. Would be fun today", Mila explained.
" Oh ok can I go with you guys?"
" Sure, we're cool".
Seems like luck was really on her side today, they were so nice to her, she least expected this tho. Seems like her dad was right after all, everything was going fine and she had eased her mind to an extent.
She just kept hoping the day will go on like this, just good, no crazy happenings.
