The false gods were not demons. They were infidels, much like humans of Valar, thus Cedric was willing to offer them salvation in Christ.
First, they could not exist within the mortal world for long, yet the divine realm was completely shattered, and with each passing moment, it would crumble further until the very plane they inhabited collapsed.
Yet Cedric did not wish for it to be so. The Lands of Chalk were God's creation, much like the mortal world was; thus, it deserved saving.
He turned away from the kneeling gods.
To fix the realm was a herculean task, and something even he would not be able to do by himself.
"Fortuna, your service was invaluable." He spoke as he gazed into the empty sky. "God will embrace you and others, and thus in His name I will restore your home!" He raised his hands toward the sky.
While he lacked the abilities necessary to repair and rebuild the lands of chalk, the same could not be said about one of the Seraphim.
This was a reason he was granted the ability to summon the Ruler. The Angel that could rewrite reality. Although he wished to avoid summoning seraphim, he also understood that this was the only way to fulfill his Mission to the standard of God.
It was not only necessary to summon the Ruler, but the Redeemer was also necessary to allow the gods to act freely in the mortal world. They were powerful entities that could be useful in the crusade against the Demon Emperor.
He took a step forward and stretched his hand forward, "Your service was grand, for that God will bless you with his infinite love!"
The gods stared at him with confused and bewildered glares. Yet they kept quiet. Fortuna understood that Cedric was capable of great things; as such, she merely observed with curiosity.

The time itself stood still.
The skies turned bronze.
A ticking of the clock echoed in the distance, from every corner and crack. The quaking of the divine realm stopped.
The illusory gears filled the sky as they turned.
Unlike the heat that was produced by the Executioner at the moment of her summoning, the Ruler's erased the concept of temperature; it was both cold and hot.
The bronze gears that filled the sky spun faster and faster.
Then the time started once again.
The gears shattered into a storm of dust and swirled in front of Cedric.
Unlike the absolute power the Executioner had displayed, the Ruler was infinitely more subtle. No blinding light, no intense heat.
He was the guide and the regent.

Much like Alael, he was a being of 16 wings, with eyes lining each one.
Cedric stared with amazement as the Ruler descended upon the crumbling lands of chalk. His form shifted and changed much like all other Angels.
However, the Ruler took the form of a man. He had short golden hair and glowing amber eyes. 1 pair of large golden wings fluttered behind him, and he wore a white toga, reminiscent of the ancient Greek style.
In his hand, he carried a large golden sceptre.
He stepped forward and knelt in front of Cedric, "Father, I, the Ruler, have heard your call and thus I have come to aid as your regent."
Cedric crossed his hands as he nodded, "Rise, Seraph. I tell you that exalted being such as you needn't kneel before a mere man like myself."
The ruler's eyes widened, "Such humility... Father, you truly are the perfect leader!"
The Ruler rose to his feet as his eyes scanned the land around them.
Cedric sighed at the praise, "I have summoned you for a specific reason, Ruler."
The Seraph nodded as his wings wrapped around him, "This realm is crumbling... I can feel it."
"You are right. We cannot allow it. I want you to fix it." Cedric stated as he approached the Ruler.
"I understand. Your will be done!"
"But first."
The Ruler tilted his head.
"I name you, Zamiel."

Zamiel bowed his head. "The depths of my gratitude cannot be expressed with mere words, Father." He clenched his fist. "Let my results speak of Father's mercy and kindness!"
He made distance from the group.
He raised his hands toward the empty sky. "In Father's name. I, Zamiel. The Seraph, by the title of the Ruler, shall restructure and rebuild this broken realm!"
Alael clapped. "Go, go! Big bro!"
The ruler inhaled deeply; his sister had so rudely interrupted his moment. "The false god had ruled for far too long, and now, after being rightfully purged, he had left the realm a broken mess. Thus I, the Ruler, proclaim!" He raised his sceptre toward the sky.
"The land of chalk is no more! Become Father's kingdom as you are meant to be! [Master of Reality]."
In an instant, the quaking of the realm stopped, the cracks ceased their growth, and the chalk froze.
He swung his scepter, and the entirety of the Divine Realm was changed.
First, he had gotten rid of the spatial manipulation that separated the former Divine Domains. It had made it difficult for anyone who was not knowledgeable of the divine realm to traverse, including the angels.
Any inconvenience had to be dealt with.
The plane was still as large as the mortal world, yet now one could reliably traverse it without fears of getting lost.
Then he had repaired the land. The cracks caused by the fight were mended. The lands of chalk were changed into an endless field of earth.
What once was barren and lifeless was not a perfect seeding bed for the new beginning.
"It is done." The ruler relaxed as he turned toward the group.
