Chapter 196 - The End of All Things

Alael brandished her executioner's blade, her wings fluttered in the wind as her golden eyes pierced through the elementals that dared surround her glorious form. The Father had rushed away to deal with Chrunus, which left her with a grand duty.

Purge the Supreme Elementals, and rush to help the father. While technically they were as powerful as her, it was mere physical power, which meant nothing in the face of Father's most powerful soldier.

She inhaled sharply as her eyes scanned the forest of darkness and flesh. Their disgusting forms made her wince in disgust. She gritted her teeth as she swung her blade through the air.

"Come at me, you filth!" Instantly, the Masses of Chaos and tentacled lunged at her. She crouched down and launched herself in the air. She placed her blade before her eyes and closed them.

"In Father's Name I was forged, by His hand was I granted this role, by Almighty's breath do I live! Yet you gather in opposition to His will. I shall not abide by it." She exhaled audibly.

"You who cower before the light of His will. You who fail to see the truth and submit. You have been judged, and thus I have come. Thus, I have raised this blade!"

The Elementals launched numerous attacks at her, yet it did not matter. Alael, as someone proficient in melee combat, could easily dodge the clumsy, colossal attacks as she monologued.

"Your lives do not deserve The Arbiter's Judgment nor Father's Grace, for your sin, you are to face me, The Executioner. You who will now fall. The darkness runs in fear, Chaos crumbles, and Order ends. For I am the [End of All Things]!"

The entirety of the Divine Realm lost its sound. The Church Bells rang in the distance.

"The bells now toll for your worthless lives, for this brings me no joy, yet you must fall." She opened her eyes, and a trail of golden blaze escaped. Her wings gained a golden glow as the disembodied sound of the bells got close.

The Elementals attempted to strike at her, yet she dodged them. Their blackened tentacles were cut with a single swing, and their skills were neutralized by her Executioner's Blade.

She was the strongest spear in Father's Arsenal. She was to be the end of everything that was judged unworthy of salvation. And in front of her were 30 of those beings. A forest of chaos and darkness, just waiting for a lumberjack to cut them down.

They felt no fear of her, for they served the supreme god of Chaos. Despite their impure existences fighting for their survival, they felt terror at the prospect of the end. The executioner would not bring them death; they would merely be erased from existence.

The bells' ringing became more frequent.

The movements of colossal elementals became even more sluggish.

Their attacks became weaker. The Chaotic storms, the reality breaks. Nothing worked on her anymore, for the end was fast approaching. She stood still as she let the attacks glance past her.

She turned her sword downward, "This is a final goodbye. A final lullaby for those who will drift to eternal sleep. May Father's grace forever guide you despite your impurity."

She slowly raised her sword toward the sky. The dark skies turned into gold, and a large bronze bell tolled above the battlefield.

The bell then stopped, instantly it dispersed into motes of light and dust. They danced and swirled around the sky; then the dust rushed towards her blade.

She inhaled sharply, "This skill will bypass all immunities as decreed by Father. For he had made it to be so." She gently landed in the middle of the hostile forest of darkness.

She raised her blade in the air and then plunged it deep in the chalky ground.

The sound disappeared, golden skies were erased, and the land of chalk became a place of pure void.

In front of her floated 30 elementals, all suspended in air, yet their end was now here.

One by one, they were erased. Not even a trace of their existence remained, for her Blade had found its way to their necks.

In mere seconds, all 30 Supreme Elementals on the level of Supreme Angels were removed, erased, and expunged.

"Reality will forget you, but Father will always welcome you." Her blade disappeared as she clasped her hands together.

She brought her hands to her chin and leaned onto them. "Father, I have fulfilled my part. May your mission be successful, too."

Alael's eyes fluttered open as she turned her head toward the battle between Father and Chrunus.

She hated to admit it, but Chrunus was incredibly powerful, possibly even too powerful for her to handle. 'It does not matter that I am not able to end Chrunus... Father will make quick work of him!'

What was worse was that he kept up with Father. Yet despite wishing to grip her blade and cut off the head of Chrunus, she knew it was not her place to interfere. The father would end the god of Chaos and usher in the Age where his will was eternal once more.

Her wings flutered in excitement, her lips curled up, and her legs squirmed, "Father is so amazing... Chrunus does not know how big of a mistake he made to stand against his will!"

She looked around and pinched her chin. "I should cheer for Father." She placed her hands behind her back as she spun in a circle, 'Not like I have much else to do.'

[Supreme Arsenal], In her hands appeared two glowing blades made of light, one red and one golden. She smiled widely as she stretched her hands with the blades in them.

She grinned widely as she moved the blades in circles, they left trails of light as Alael burst into a dance, "Go, Go Father! You got this!"

She spun around as she waved her glowing blades in the air. 'I hope Father appreciates my moral support!'
