Tyler POV
As the pirates charged towards me, brandishing their swords, I felt leopard essence surge through me. Then I scream and let it all out. The vicinity explodes with a burst of orange energy, and the pirates fly into the imploded store.
When the dust clears, Khan Chi is missing. Maybe he ran to safety. I can't think about him now. Right now, the pirates are coming towards me.
One of them scowls, "It-it can't be. He bears a Fruit of the Devil." Another one says, "Bah! So does Cap'n Bobby!! If he gets to him, the boyo will get it."
It's time to use my first move. I dash back and shout, "MAGMA FIST!" Then I leap in the air, and a spiral of white energy blasts hurtle towards the pirates.
Some deflect them with their swords, but others get hit with them. While they are distracted and I'm falling, I finish the attack with a well-timed orange energy blast, which knocks the pirates back but killing a couple.
One says, "Fine. We'll take you to our cap'n, matey." I smirk. "That's more like it." I'm still worried about Khan Chi, though.
The pirates lead me to a large brigade ship with a Jolly Roger draped on the starboard. It is one weird Roger. It is a skeleton with a pirate's hat and a red clown's nose.
Just then, an 8 foot tall man jumps out of the ship and lands on his feet. He has a red pirate hat, clown makeup, and a red clown nose. He also has a cutlass sheathed at his side.
"CAP'N BOBBY! THIS IS THE BOY WHO WANTS TO SEE YOU!'' one pirate says. Bobby replies, "I hear you have a Devil Fruit. Well, so do I."
I can not let him intimidate me. I have to get the map. Then I growl, "Well, did you hear the Pirate King is dead?" Bobby and his crew gasp lightly.
"Did you also hear... that I AM HIS SON?!" And with that, I grab a cutlass from a pirate and slice off Bobby's head. It falls with a thud. Then, the pirates start laughing maniacally. I just killed their captain. Why are they laughing?
Then Bobby's supposedly lifeless body picks up the head and puts it in place. Then he laughs. "I can't be killed with a sword! My Devil Fruit is the RAZOR RAZOR FRUIT, which makes me immune to sword and aura attacks and gives me special blade-like powers."
This won't be easy. Bobby retches, "PIRATES, GET HIM!!" Then the pirates walk toward me, swords ready.
All of a sudden, I hear a shriek, and a foot slams Bobby in the face. The force sends him flying into a yellow house, causing it to crumble. When the dust clears, I see a familiar man raising his foot.
"KHAN CHI!"
Khan Chi POV
Let us back up, shall we?
After Tyler's explosion, I was sent flying into a thin wall. The strange thing was, instead of smashing into the wall, I sailed right through it. I hit the ground and saw a man about 45 years, standing on one foot and chanting, 'Oooommmm...'
He said, "Welcome, young learner. Welcome to the Dark Leg Dojo. I see you were in a battle. I replied frantically, "Yes, but I can't fight, and I need to help my friend."
"Then," he said, "I will help you. I will teach you how to fight... with the legs!!" A board appeared, and he jumped and kicked it. It snapped. "Neat," I said, "but how will you teach me how to fight in this cramped space?"
He tapped the ground three times with his foot, and we started descending. We stopped at a large room with waterfalls and a vast platform in the middle. Then he shouted, "THIS IS THE DARK LEGS DOJO!"
He taught me the basics, like channelling pedal energy in my legs. I was ready to save Tyler.
Tyler POV
Khan Chi walks towards the pirates and growls, "Lay a finger on him, and you get it."
Bobby says, "Don't listen to him, mateys. He thinks he can intimidate us." Two of his pirates run toward us, and we smirk. Khan Chi jumps in the air, twirls and kicks one of the pirates, and I punch the other in the sternum. They both fall on their knees, groaning.
"I have to do everything myself," Bobby mutters. He takes off his fur cape. "I'll handle you two."
A brute hands Bobby eight daggers, and he puts them between the spaces in his fingers. "I'll have your heads for a trophy...!"
