With a buzzing sound, Kasenhis abruptly appeared behind Voldemort. The mechanical arm on his back snapped out at high speed and stabbed toward Voldemort's back.
Bang!
In just an instant, Voldemort's chest was pierced clean through. But what made it even more hair-raising was that Kasenhis didn't see even a single blood vessel inside.
Even worse.. After taking such severe damage, not a single drop of blood flowed out.
"You're no longer human…" Kasenhis swallowed hard. Before the mechanical arm could change direction, Voldemort suddenly twisted sideways.
In an instant, the entire left side of his chest was sliced open by the mechanical arm. He rapidly pulled away from Kasenhis and said hoarsely, "Because now, I am a god!"
Then, in the distance, the towering dragon formed from Fiendfyre exploded with a loud boom, scattering into a sea of flames that slowly descended toward the ground.
"When we meet again, I will grant you a merciful death," Voldemort said through clenched teeth as he stared at Kasenhis. At the same time, the wound in his chest was rapidly healing itself. Strands of things like red maggots intertwined and twisted together, eventually restoring it completely.
"You don't need to tell me that!" Kasenhis said, directly firing a wither skull. With a bang, it slammed into Voldemort's chest, and in the next moment, a大片 black patch spread across it, starting to crumble into ash.
"I've changed my mind. Your death will be incomparably cruel!" Voldemort snarled, pulling a Portkey out of his pocket. Then his entire body vanished.
Seeing their boss run away, the other Death Eaters who were still putting up a desperate resistance hurriedly took out the Portkeys they had prepared in advance and escaped as well.
"That level of Fiendfyre is beyond what we can stop! Professor Kasenhis, we need to retreat immediately!" Moody roared.
"There's no need for that! I actually have some experience dealing with Fiendfyre!" Kasenhis shouted back, quickly pulling out an enchanting table. Purple runes leapt wildly from the enchanted book, coiling into the sky-covering Fiendfyre.
Kasenhis took a deep breath. This level of Fiendfyre was no longer ordinary Fiendfyre. He had to go all out.
He swiftly took out a piece of lapis lazuli and crushed it with his bare hand. In the next moment, the lapis powder strangely changed color, with a buzzing sound…
The originally purple runes instantly turned golden, followed by another buzz.
The sky-covering Fiendfyre vanished in an instant. The fiery red sky disappeared in the blink of an eye, becoming clear once again.
"Fiendfyre… where did it go?" Moody, who had just constructed Fiendfyre defensive magic with Mr. Longbottom and Sirius nearby, stared at the clean sky in a daze.
Compared to someone being able to instantly resolve Fiendfyre capable of burning an entire island into glass, he found it easier to believe that he had painlessly arrived in the world of the dead.
"The dust has settled. There are still thirty seconds left before the time window ends. Let's hurry and leave—don't cause trouble for Dumbledore," Lupin said loudly after glancing at his watch.
Kasenhis nodded. The Ender field enveloped them, and in the next moment they had already returned to Grimmauld Place. Only then did Kasenhis have the time to glance at the clock hanging on the wall.
"So only a little over a minute has passed just now…" he murmured.
"How long did you think it had been? I haven't even finished buttering my bread," Tonks said resentfully.
"Maybe… two hours?" Kasenhis sat down and let out a long breath. Very naturally, he took the bread from Tonks's hand and took a bite. He was unbelievably hungry.
"Any problems? Fighting Voldemort?" Lupin asked.
The others at the dining table slowly pricked up their ears as well—Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, along with a string of young wizards. They had all assumed that Kasenhis had merely ambushed the Death Eaters.
None of them had imagined that he could actually go one-on-one with Voldemort himself.
As for Mad-Eye Moody, Sirius, Lupin, and the Longbottoms, their curiosity was genuine.
They had all personally seen Voldemort get pierced through most of his body the moment he faced Kasenhis, but the battle ended so quickly that it was hard to tell much.
Just like a boxing match—first-person and third-person perspectives were practically two different worlds.
Kasenhis took the hot tea Mrs. Weasley handed him and thanked her.
"How should I put it… hard to gauge, impossible to kill, impossible to fully understand. For example, if an ordinary attack hits an ordinary wizard, they'd definitely die. But when it hits Voldemort, it feels like… I'm not attacking a person, but a building. The wounds look huge and terrifying, but the real damage to him isn't actually that much."
"And I can't see through him either. I don't know how many tricks and spells he has, or what kind of games he's good at. The feeling he gives me is that no matter what I do, he always has a way to respond."
"So that means… he's very strong," Harry, who had already turned back into a boy, swallowed and said.
"Obviously, yes," Sirius said, standing up and walking behind Harry to pat his shoulder.
"Then… what do we do next?" Harry asked.
But clearly, no one at the table answered him. Maybe they thought he was too young, or maybe they simply didn't want to say too much.
Harry felt a little embarrassed and a little annoyed. Voldemort was his number one enemy. He felt that he should at least be qualified to know how much Voldemort had suffered this time, and when they would make him suffer again next time.
In the end, it was Kasenhis who saw Harry's expression growing darker and spoke up:
"This time, Voldemort's plan to rescue the Death Eaters can be considered half a failure. Those Death Eaters who were loyal to him but not particularly capable have all died on Azkaban Island."
"As for next time, that's not something we can plan or arrange. After all, the current situation is that we're in the light, and Voldemort is in the dark, so when it comes to causing trouble, he has the initiative."
Harry nodded. "Then what do we do next?"
Moody sat in his chair and took a dry sip of wine. "We wait. We sit around and wait for the Ministry to sort out their ridiculous power struggles. As for you lot, you also sit around and wait for Hogwarts to start."
"Alright…" Ron sighed and slumped onto the table, only to be poked by Mrs. Weasley. In the next moment, he straightened his back at lightning speed.
"Where's Dumbledore?" Kasenhis suddenly asked after finishing his bread.
