(In Dragon Ball GT, the style clearly doesn't match that of Super Saiyan God, the two obviously follow different paths. GT focuses on developing one's own potential and drawing out the Saiyan's primal power, while Super Saiyan God is a training of realm and Divine Ki. It's perfectly normal for them to be in conflict.)
