Chapter 315 - MCSDB Chapter 199 Gods Part 2

Amidst the roaring explosions, Zeus spoke, his gaze fixed on Athena.

But there was no response. What greeted Zeus was the radiant divine will and vast power of Cosmo emanating from her.

"Tch! What a tempting offer," Poseidon scoffed.

Hades maintained a calm smile and neither displayed the slightest hint of anxiety. Seeing their expressions, Zeus's face involuntarily tightened.

"The new God King…? Father, I think you've misunderstood something. I'm not doing this to become the next God King." As Zeus's expression grew tense, Athena's calm voice resonated through the chaos.

Her words were soft, yet that simple sentence caused Zeus's pupils to contract violently.

A chilling premonition surged within him once more.

"You--!"

Zeus instinctively opened his mouth to respond, but before he could finish, the combined assault of all three gods came crashing down on hiim.

The battle erupted anew as the four great Authorities clashed, engulfing the eternal expanse.

This time, Hades, Poseidon, and Athena unleashed their full divine power. Their might surged outward and before long, Zeus found himself on the defensive.

His power was indeed immense. However, in this latest expansion of the Four Authorities, he was not the greatest beneficiary.

Or rather, he was not the greatest beneficiary, yet.

After all, his second phase of the plan had yet to commence. In contrast, Hades, Poseidon, and Athena had reaped tremendous gains from this expansion.

Hades, without a doubt, had not only fully mastered the Laws of Death but now completely ruled over the Underworld Realm.

Poseidon was similarly dominant over the Seas.

Athena, while she hadn't claimed full dominion over the Earth, had completely grasped all Earthly Laws.

Zeus, though he had expanded the Sky Authority, already held most of it from the begining; this was merely a further refinement.

BOOM!

RUMBLE!

Within the eternal time and space, the battle of the three gods raged on. This was a clash that transcended time, space, and all limits.

Meanwhile, high above in the boundless void, a lone figure stood, observing the scene unfold with keen interest.

"What an unexpected turn of events. The Power of Omega, huh? Now I'm truly intrigued…" A light chuckle escaped the figure's lips as his gaze shifted downward.

There, a book hovered in the air, quietly displaying the unfolding battle between Athena, Poseidon, Hades, and Zeus, along with the image of a solitary figure sitting cross-legged within the Sanctuary, meditating on Cosmo.

Countless other tomes floated in the endless void, surrounding this book.

Each book contained an entire world, expanding, evolving, and turning its own pages.

In this realm, space held no meaning. Even time itself could not be defined. In this place, it seemed that only one eternal being existed.

A being that transcended endless time and space, spanning infinite dimensions.

His very existence marked the beginning of all things and the end of everything.

This was an unknown entity, not one of the typical creator gods from mythologies who split heaven and earth, but the very creator of all mythologies themselves.

A god who transcended and ruled over the past, present, and future, over all time and space, an immortal being who had endured through eternal time and space.

Across all timelines, all multiverses, and all Three Thousand Grand Worlds, there was no other like him, he is the one and only, supreme God: Cronos, the Lord of All Gods.

As the Saint Seiya world began to shift, this supreme God, a being from beyond time, history, and myth, had begun to cast his gaze upon this realm. With his gaze descending, the trajectory of the entire Saint Seiya universe began to change quietly.

At this moment, no one was aware.

Not the four sovereigns, Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, and Athena, who were currently clashing within eternal time and space...

Nor any of the Spiritual Gods across the earth during the Mythical Era.

They were gods, beings who stood above divinity itself.

But to Cronos, the Lord of All Gods, they were no different from ants crawling on the ground.

In the Sanctuary, Jiang Chen was equally oblivious to all of this. After speaking with Athena, though he still felt a bit anxious inside, he contemplated and decided to give it one more try.

That world, if he didn't see it for himself, he wouldn't be able to find peace.

As for danger...

He had already prepared for that. Even if things didn't go as planned, at worst, he would have to abandon the identity of Asclepius. It wouldn't significantly impact his main body.

In contrast, if he didn't take this chance now, he might not get another opportunity later.

The power of the gods was not something he could easily confront again.

At the heart of the Sanctuary:

"Hoo…"

Jiang Chen exhaled a long breath and in the next moment, he stopped hesitating.

His consciousness is fully immersed in his own Cosmo.

BOOM! RUMBLE!!

His Cosmo surged like crashing waves and within his awareness, three drops of golden blood materialized. These three drops were reminiscent of the first time, but they were clearly much stronger than the second time.

Jiang Chen could immediately sense how different these drops were.

Each drop of golden blood contained an immense Cosmo, one he had never experienced before. He didn't know how this Cosmo had come to be. The only certainty he had was this:

These three drops of golden blood held such majestic Cosmo that they could propel him to another great leap forward, even allowing him to perfect his Cosmo to an entirely new realm.

"Omega… Athena…" He whispered softly, and in his mind echoed the final words Athena had spoken before departing:

"The power of Omega; this might be your only chance. But how you choose to proceed is entirely up to you. Once you take that step, you must be sure you're truly ready, for after that, I won't have time to assist you."

That gentle voice reverberated through Jiang Chen's mind, causing his expression to shift into deep contemplation.

(Note: In the official Saint Seiya storyline, Zeus is mysteriously missing, and no one knows what happened to him. Some say he transcended, while others suspect he was eliminated. Athena holds a grudge against Zeus, as do Hades and Poseidon. Normally, the three would never unite, but Jiang Chen's appearance finally compelled Athena to take action.

Originally, Zeus had planned to unite the Olympus pantheon and consume all of Earth's laws and authorities. He succeeded in this first phase. The second phase of his plan was to absorb the powers of his children, merge them into himself, and achieve full transcendence. Unfortunately for Zeus, he botched the second part.)
