Halting his steps, Shinji sighs, interlocking his hands behind his back.

His embroiled gaze lands on the pink moon. He didn't know whether what he did was right or wrong, but it was the best way out of the situation.

'Derniere... will understand, right?'

Looking at his friend staring at the moon, he felt like he could understand him. On another level, he felt like Lucien wouldn't — he knows little about him.
