"I took your beating without saying a thing." Vicious amber-eyes glared at the sixteen-year-old, Goro, who had his punch intercepted, "But, you insulted my Okaasan. She has nothing to do with this. Apologize now."
Hearing the cold voice coming from a 14-year-old, Lucy, he had placed on the corner of an alleyway, Goro felt cold sweat tricking down his face. He had made sure to pull away his cousin from public view, and beat him up to a bloody pulp, but now he regretted it because of fear.
His siblings physically harassed this cousin of theirs before. When Goro refused, they mocked him in many ways, calling him a coward afraid of a child, and other childish insults. In the end, he could only be a rubbish like them, to live with them in peace.
Putting on a poker face, he roared at his cousin who had managed to get up, "Let me go, you son of a-!"
That's all he remembered about the situation, before waking up with a black spot on his right eye in the middle of the street.
Although, his parents had acted on his aunt as a warning to teach her son manners, Goro still felt humiliated by the events of that day. Moreover, his siblings had laughed at him to a humiliating point.
"When I find that bastard, I'll give him a punch," He was still afraid of what would happen, if he went too far like last time, "Just one punch!"
Now, Goro was being led by katsura to the group of mortals who had joined the camp recently. Spotting those amber-eyes, which coldly looked at him in that deserted alleyway.
Unlike like last time, they carried a bright glow that made him shiver lightly. However, he strengthened himself, there are other Tama-Artists to protect him if things went west.
Rushing towards his cousin, his arm enlarges, throwing a vicious punch with all his might.
Seeing his cousin being sent back flying, Goro felt joy from the depths of his soul.
"You bastard, what were you looking at?! I'm the boss of this place! This isn't back then, where I didn't have proper control of the Tama I awakened! I can beat you all I want!"
He doesn't want to do it, his cousin is an unpredictable man, who knows what he might do?
Now, that his revenge was done, Goro clears his throat ready to spout nonsense at the mortals. However, he suddenly had a myocardial infarction, dying on the spot, before going to heaven on a rowboat.
...that's the only place where such a walking fragment of divinity belonged.
Unfortunately, to his delusion he was still on Earth, as his heart sang a war cry of joy.
Thud... thud... thud...
'I want her...'
It had been a while since Goro last saw a girl, but the girl before him was a rare beauty —just his type.
Petite, nourished, smooth pale skin with a faint glow. Her big silver eyes perfected her round face, giving her a doll-like appearance.
Not missing the chance, Goro walks toward her, sizing her up and down. Reaching, he caresses her long silver hair, speaking in a polite, charming tone.
"Listen, Baby Girl. I don't know about you, but I'm open to all sorts of relationships. What's your name, mi babe?"
Sora's face cringed slightly in fright as Goro finished speaking. She wanted to scream that she is a boy, but Lucien had told her to pretend that her current appearance is the girl, or he would never talk to her again —he is a man of his word, she has to do it.
Taking deep breaths, Sora bowls down to show respect.
"My name is..." her face contorted slightly at her action. She is not used to getting hit on, "Haka Sora, Tama-Artist-sama."
Goro wanted to prolong the conversation by showing her the cool uses of his useless initial Tama, but he felt something amiss, making him sweat slightly.
'I used all my Rei in attacking that cousin of mine! Damn it! I must look cool in front of this girl, but I'll save that for next time.'
Goro began to move away from the group —his main reason for coming was to punch his cousin, and the sight of Sora was his reward.
He notices a girl with shoulder sized hair in a bun, and asks, "What's your name?"
The girl answers in a raspy voice:
"Yananai Tsukino."
Not minding her tone, he nods pleasingly. He isn't the one to force ladies to like him. Along his steps, a helpless mutter escapes his big lips:
"Why do all the beautiful girls come here, when the Academies are filled with ugly Huns? Such a pity, a pity indeed."
Just before he got out of the mortals' sight, he coldly looks back.
"Dumbo!"
"Sir!" Someone from the newbies answered with vigor, thinking the call was made for everyone. However, upon seeing katsura rush over to Goro, his heart sank deep down to the earth's core, 'I'M DEAD! GRANDMA! I'M COMING SOON!'
Seeing his frightened look, Goro laughs heartily. Rather than annoyed, he found the situation funny —he isn't a fan of violence.
"Shut up, you ugly bastard!"
Goro's hand went to katsura's bold head.
"Dumbo is this Academy Failure, because his head is like a jumbo bun! This beggar's eyes look like that of a dead fish. His breath can kill the whole village! He is the Great Stinker, he doesn't remember the last time water touched his body! It must be the last time it rained, when frogs like him were jumping about! Under my order, you are free to call him Dumbo! If he does anything to you about it, especially the ladies, tell me!"
The newbies suppressed their laughs. They might end up missing in the middle of the night because of it.
After a few minutes, katsura came back wearing an apathetic look. His eyes were viciously scanning for anyone looking at his solar panel funny. After finding the group tame as usual, his big lips move:
"Tsukino, lead this team to gather information about the Kushi village's new members. Report to your seniors any potential threats for the upcoming battle, and if possible, eliminate them. This is for your own good, not mine, but punishment will be given for failure."
