The black phantom exuded a thick, ominous aura as it descended from mid-air toward the struggling Heather.

"No!" Harry Mason screamed in rage, while Heather turned her head, her face filled with terror, to look at Gwen and the others.

Save me!

She had absolutely no desire to become a vessel for some bullshit god.

In the next second, she saw a wisp of blue flame appear at Gwen's fingertips, and a look of joy instantly flooded her eyes.

Thank goodness, Gwen and the others are going to act.

As this thought crossed her mind, Gwen completed her transformation in an instant.

The wildly burning flames, the wickedly charismatic battle suit...

"No matter how many times I see it, it's always breathtaking..." Peter murmured softly, his eyes filled with adoration.

"What did you say?" Little Lamb looked at Peter with vigilance.

This guy... seems to have some designs on my sister.

Peter gave a light cough, his face turning beet red in an instant.

"N-nothing, it's nothing..." Peter stammered. Under Little Lamb's suspicious gaze, he shifted his attention to Gwen, who was striding forward.

As the blue flames of vengeance erupted, Gwen transformed into the Spirit of Vengeance. The ridiculous ropes binding her were instantly incinerated into ash.

At the same time, the descending black phantom seemed startled by Gwen and turned to look at her.

Gwen grinned at it and crooked her finger. "Come on, Mr. 'God,' let's play!"

As she spoke, she lashed out with the chains wrapped around her body.

The inanimate chains moved like agile snakes, wrapping around Heather.

Whoosh!

A trail of blue fire raced along the chains and landed on Heather.

"Ahhh!" Heather screamed in fear.

She had seen with her own eyes how these terrifying flames burned monsters to ash.

But a split second later, her vision blurred as a force yanked her away.

"Stop screaming!" Gwen caught the flying Heather and grinned at her. "It's fine!"

Heather stared blankly at the flaming skull face, blushed slightly, and hurriedly let go of Gwen.

"Go over to Little Lamb!"

"My dad..."

"Don't worry," Gwen said, waving her hand lightly. The agile chains flew toward Harry Mason, easily knocking away the cultists holding him down before wrapping around him and pulling him over as well.

"Thank you, thank you!" Harry Mason said immediately, though he was still terrified by Gwen's current appearance.

"Stand back!"

Gwen shouted in a low voice, taking a step forward to shield the two of them. The chains in her hands spun rapidly, forming a blue shield in front of her.

Boom!

A blast of black energy collided with Gwen's flame shield, causing a thunderous roar.

Heather and her father were startled and hurriedly ran toward Little Lamb.

By now, Little Lamb had already untied everyone else. When Heather and her father arrived, he stood like a little lion, shielding everyone behind him.

Seeing Little Lamb's protective posture, Luke and the others smiled faintly.

"Ah!"

Accompanied by the black phantom's irritable shriek, ripples of black energy began to expand from mid-air.

In the next instant, the eyes of the cultists swept by the black ripples turned red, and they all began to mutate.

Having lived in the Silent Hill world and prayed to the shadow for so long, they had long been eroded by this evil energy. Now, under the black phantom's influence, they instantly transformed into various monsters.

Monsters like lizards crawling on the ground with long tongues.

Monsters with human upper bodies but multiple long legs sprouting from their backs.

Monsters with grotesquely large heads dripping acid from the corners of their mouths.

...

It was like a grand gathering of monsters.

Heather and her father trembled in fear. Peter and the others felt their scalps tingle, but Little Lamb's eyes lit up.

"Big Sister! You handle the boss! Leave these little things to me!"

"No need! You protect them!"

Gwen replied calmly. As her chains lashed toward the phantom, her eyes flashed, and she opened her mouth.

In the next instant, a massive torrent of blue flame spewed from her mouth. It flowed like water, spreading beneath their feet and turning the area into an inferno.

In a flash, the monsters touched by the flames turned to ash amidst agonized howls.

Seeing this scene, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. However, when they noticed the fire beneath their own feet, their expressions turned strange.

They couldn't feel even a hint of pain from these flames.

Peter and the others nodded secretly. Gwen's control over her power had improved again.

Little Lamb pouted, feeling a bit unhappy.

He wanted to fight monsters too!

Just then, he noticed the Blade Lady—Claudia's monstrous form—on the ceiling.

Huh?

Little Lamb looked confused.

Did that monster just jump up high to dodge my sister's attack?

His eyes lit up, and he let out a mischievous chuckle, pretending he hadn't seen anything.

A second later, as Gwen and the Evil God phantom clashed again, sending a shockwave outward, the Blade Lady silently leaped from the ceiling, her sharp blades stabbing toward Luke.

Luke was the most muscular of the group, so in her eyes, he posed a greater threat than the others.

But to her surprise, Luke leaped backward as if he sensed it, dodging the falling blades.

The Blade Lady was startled. She twisted her body in mid-air and landed on the wall behind them, her feet gripping the surface like hooks.

"Hiss!"

She glared at the group with hostility, then pushed off the wall with force, lunging at Luke again. Since she couldn't land on the fire-covered ground, she didn't plan to land at all.

She could almost see the image of her blades slicing off Luke's head, blood spraying like a fountain.

But...

"Wow, you're actually ignoring me!"

Little Lamb's displeased voice rang out.

His body flashed, appearing in front of the Blade Lady with exaggerated speed. His two small hands grabbed her by the neck and slammed her to the ground.

The Blade Lady was shocked. Her body curled up in a ridiculous posture as she tried to stab her blades into Little Lamb's body.

"Ah!" Heather and her father screamed.

Peter and the others, however, rolled their eyes.

This monster is really adorably stupid...

Ding!

A crisp sound rang out. The Blade Lady froze, while Little Lamb tilted his head in confusion.

Then, like tossing out trash, he threw her into the distant sea of fire.

"Bye-bye!"

Little Lamb waved his hand cutely.

Noticing this out of the corner of her eye, Gwen smiled. Little Lamb did well; he was indeed a member of their family.

Now...

Gwen's gaze landed on the phantom.

Time to deal with this thing.

Evil energy wrapped around Gwen like tentacles, but the moment it appeared, it was incinerated into ash by the blue flames.

"Ah!"

The Evil God phantom howled, sending waves of energy rippling outward, shaking people's souls.

"What an ugly sound!" Gwen mocked.

Wreathed in flames, she suddenly appeared in mid-air, clutching a swirling blue fireball in her palm, which she slammed into the black phantom's mouth.

This attack wouldn't affect the physical world much, but for Peter and the others, the scream was damaging their souls, so she had to stop it.

Boom!

The flames exploded, and the screeching came to an abrupt halt.

Seeing that Peter and the others were unaffected, Gwen secretly breathed a sigh of relief. The chains in her hands silently wrapped around the Evil God phantom.

The phantom was startled.

I am clearly a phantom, so how can I be bound?

Before it could figure it out, blue flames raced along the chains and engulfed its body.

Its soul was being scorched. The extreme pain made it howl in agony.

Now, it finally understood why Gwen's chains could catch it.

It struggled violently, sending waves of black energy crashing outward like a tide, but the chains wrapped around it didn't budge an inch.

Gwen said indifferently, "I told you, at this level, you don't deserve to be called a God!"

"Damn insect, if I hadn't yet to recover my power, if I wasn't without a body, you..."

"Aaaah!"

Before it could finish its arrogant rant, Gwen's eyes flashed, and a massive surge of fire instantly swallowed it.

"You lost, so stop whining. It's annoying."

Gwen whispered, watching the entity turn to ash. "Even if you recovered your power, the result would be the same."

With that, she shrugged and pulled back, the chains wrapping back around her body.

With a light wave of her arm, the sea of fire on the ground slowly vanished. Gwen walked over to Peter and the others, treading on the vanishing fire like a Flame Queen.

Watching Gwen slowly deactivate her transformation, Peter swallowed hard, then blushed.

Little Lamb narrowed his eyes at Peter.

This scoundrel definitely has improper intentions toward my sister!

"Is everyone alright?" Gwen asked, her gaze sweeping over the group quickly.

Everyone nodded, and Heather and her father thanked Gwen repeatedly.

Gwen smiled slightly at the two of them. "Let's go."

"Wait a moment," Heather said sheepishly. "There's one more person trapped here, he..."

"Your lover?" Luke teased.

Heather froze and hurriedly shook her head.

Beside her, Harry Mason felt his heart tighten.

Is my daughter about to be stolen away by some pig?

"If possible, I'd like to look for my wife as well," Harry Mason said in a low voice, looking at Gwen with pleading eyes.

Gwen pondered for a moment. "That Evil God phantom just now was the source of power for this place. Since it has been destroyed, this space will disappear very quickly."

Heather and her father were shocked and hurriedly asked, "What will happen to the people here?"

"As the space disappears, they will naturally appear in the real world—if they are still alive."

Those belonging to this nightmare would vanish with the space, while those who didn't belong would return to reality.

Hearing this, the two felt a mix of nervousness, excitement, and worry.

"It's starting," Gwen suddenly announced.

As her voice fell, the church they were in began to crack and peel like old wallpaper.

Within a few seconds, they shifted from the Otherworld to the Fog World.

"Not over yet," Gwen said faintly.

As she spoke, the Fog World of Silent Hill also began to peel away. Within seconds, they arrived in reality.

Yes, reality.

Looking at the dilapidated church, now marked with scorch marks, everyone finally let down their guard, feeling an involuntary sense of relief.

The real world felt completely different from Silent Hill.

Silent Hill always exuded a cold, evil sensation, even in the Fog World. Staying in that world felt incredibly oppressive.

"It will take some time for this space to fully vanish. Let's go outside first," Gwen said to the group, quickly leading them out of the church.

Leaving the church, everyone boarded the RV and quietly watched the Silent Hill world fade away.

Suddenly, Little Lamb said to Gwen, "Big Sister, that black weirdo... oh, that Evil God phantom, he felt familiar. Like I've seen him somewhere."

"Hmm?" Gwen looked at Little Lamb in surprise. "You actually sensed it?"

Little Lamb: (???)

I'm not a dumb kid.

"Hehe!" Gwen couldn't help but chuckle. She pinched Little Lamb's soft cheek and smiled. "You're right. We have encountered something similar before."

Little Lamb: (?ω?)

See? I knew I was awesome!

"Do you remember our last family trip?" Gwen reminded him.

Little Lamb nodded, then his eyes lit up. "The sea of pink flowers? The big skeleton!?"

"Correct!" Gwen nodded. Feeling the smooth texture under her fingertips, she couldn't resist pinching Little Lamb again. "You really are smart!"

Little Lamb: (`へ′*)ノ

Of course I am!

Watching Little Lamb's expression, Gwen chuckled, but deep within her eyes, a look of contemplation flickered.

Is something going to happen?

Why are these things appearing again? Why are they waking up?

Before she could come up with an answer, a beam of warm sunlight pierced through the clouds and touched the ground.

Soon, the gloomy sky was completely torn apart by golden sunlight. The entire world was bathed in light, driving away every last trace of haze.

"This space has vanished," Gwen smiled, looking at the town, which was filled with black scorch marks. "Now, let's go find them."

The RV moved slowly through the streets of Silent Hill, taking Heather and her father to check suspicious locations.

Finally, after some time, they first found Vincent trapped on a hospital bed.

His mother had ordered him to be tied to the bed and sent to the hospital to be dealt with by those monsters known as Nurses.

The Nurses couldn't see, but they were very sensitive to sound.

The two cultists who delivered him had made some noise and were minced into meat paste by the Nurses. Ironically, Vincent, the one being punished, survived because he remained still.

He stayed there until Gwen and the others found him.

Heather and Vincent hugged each other tightly.

Harry Mason coughed lightly, looking at the embracing pair. No matter how he looked at it, it was an eyesore.

However, as soon as he found his wife, he no longer had the energy to police Heather and Vincent. He excitedly embraced his wife, showing off their affection to everyone around them.

Afterward, Gwen drove the family to a neighboring town. After resting for a night, amidst the gratitude of Heather's family, Gwen continued on her journey.

And the legend of Silent Hill began to spread from the mouths of the survivors.
