Wakanda, the African nation you never knew!
Wakanda, a small, fabulously wealthy African nation literally flowing with gold!
Wakanda, a technological powerhouse!
Kent Star, the nation of mutants, officially begins establishing diplomatic relations with the nations of Earth.
A chance to go to Kent Star?
As someone who has been to Kent Star, here are three things to prepare before you go!
The alliance between Kent Star and Wakanda: the ambition of the strong!
Kent Star and Wakanda have begun active diplomacy, revealing a strength that has shocked the world.
Ever since returning from Wakanda, Kent Star and Wakanda had initiated their diplomatic efforts, slowly revealing to the outside world a power that left everyone stunned.
Kent Star was one thing; after all, it was a nation of mutants and home to the ridiculously overpowered Kent family. People could accept Kent Star's strength. But Wakanda... in the eyes of most, it was just a backward country located in Africa. Situated in a region known for being undeveloped, how strong or advanced could it possibly be?
Thus, when the initial information was released, the vast majority of people and nations found it utterly absurd. But after verification, when Wakanda's true power was confirmed, they moved past their disbelief and began to target the nation, attempting to isolate it.
But Wakanda simply didn't care.
Before they announced their country's true information, Wakanda had always just done its own thing. Being isolated now had absolutely no impact on them.
On the contrary, the scientific and technological information Wakanda released made many countries extremely envious.
In the end, this coordinated targeting didn't last long at all before it silently crumbled, becoming a complete joke.
Subsequently, Kent Star and Wakanda announced their alliance, stirring up yet another storm.
Regardless of the details, these two special nations were finally on the right track.
However, Mike didn't care about any of these things.
He was currently busy preparing for tomorrow's trip.
That's right, tomorrow he and Gwen were going on vacation.
For certain special reasons, this time it would only be Mike and Gwen. As for Raven, Mike would send her to Kent Star when they departed in the morning.
Ever since Raven became pregnant, she had set aside her teaching work. This time, while Mike and Gwen were away, she could go back to the school, be a teacher for a few days, and spend time with her old friends.
"Is everything ready?"
Raven asked, looking at Mike, who was sitting at the bedroom desk making cards.
She didn't get a response, but Raven wasn't anxious. She just waited quietly until Mike finished the card in his hand and put it away. Only then did he speak: "There's nothing much to prepare. If we forget anything, I'll just open a portal and come back to get it."
Raven paused for a moment.
She had forgotten about that.
Their family was not ordinary.
Raven chuckled softly, a look of mock distress on her face. "I feel like I've been getting dumber recently."
Mike turned to look at Raven and said seriously, "That's normal."
"Hmm?"
"Doesn't everyone say 'one pregnancy, three years of silliness'?"
Mike looked at Raven with a completely serious expression, shaking his head and sighing dramatically. "Alas!"
"Hahaha!"
Raven laughed happily, standing up from the bed and pouncing on Mike. "Let me infect you with the stupid!"
Mike hurriedly caught her. "Be careful!"
Raven giggled. "It's fine."
Her extraordinary physique allowed her to be as agile as a gymnast, even at eight months pregnant.
"Darling, let's go to sleep."
Raven winked at Mike, her eyes filled with alluring charm. Her hands, like nimble fish, began to glide over Mike's body.
The corner of Mike's mouth twitched. "You really are a little devil."
She clearly knew they couldn't do that while she was pregnant, yet she was deliberately fanning the flames.
"Serves you right for calling me stupid."
Raven smirked, leaving Mike at a loss for words.
But just as Raven was looking smug, Mike's own wicked smile appeared as he looked her up and down.
Raven sensed that this was not good. Just as she was about to flee, the lights went out.
...
Late at night, on the street.
Wote walked down the sidewalk, stretching his arms, enjoying the feeling of melting into the night. It was as if he were the only person in the world, as if he had become the master of this world.
But in reality, he was just a car thief.
"Attitude! A person's attitude is the most important thing!"
When he believed he was the master of the world, nothing else mattered.
He muttered his catchphrase, browsing the cars on the street as if he were in a supermarket.
"Not this one, too old. Not this one, too cheap."
"Hey, that one's not bad. I'll note the location and come back for you next time."
Wote sighed with a hint of regret.
If he didn't already have a clear target for today, he would have taken that sweetheart just now.
However, thinking of tonight's target, he couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation.
If the last car was a sweetheart, then tonight's target was a peerless beauty.
Thinking of that car, Wote swallowed hard.
He had never seen such a beautiful car.
Never having seen it meant it carried a certain risk. He understood this clearly. He didn't even have one-tenth of the confidence that he could steal it successfully.
"It's probably worse... I'm not even confident I can open its door."
Wote muttered to himself.
But even if he could just take a picture in front of the car, or touch that mesmerizing body, he would be satisfied.
If he were thought of as a pervert, then that car, in his eyes, was an absolute goddess.
If he had the chance to take a picture with it, or even just cop a feel, he would be absolutely ecstatic.
Although this was risky...
"This, too, is a form of romance."
Wote smiled happily.
A moment later, he arrived at his destination.
It was a very ordinary-looking neighborhood in Queens.
From his observations, the person driving the car last time was a pregnant woman. He had happened to see her when she was out shopping.
"I remember it's that house."
He muttered, looking toward Mike's house in the distance.
He squinted, using the streetlight to see the car parked in front of Mike's house—the car gifted by Tony.
Because Mike's garage was occupied by Gwen's Vibranium motorcycle and their original car, Mike just parked it outside. Besides, this car wasn't afraid of being stolen.
Wote's eyes lit up, but then he looked at the car with a pained expression.
Such a fine car was being left outside, exposed to the wind and rain? This was simply outrageous!
He looked around, then quickly walked over.
When he stood in front of the car, gazing at the silky-smooth and exquisitely curved body, he couldn't help but gulp.
He took out his phone, snapped a few pictures, and then, as if on a pilgrimage, reached out and gently stroked it. Feeling the cool, smooth surface under his fingertips, he let out a long sigh.
"So good."
Then, he started taking more pictures.
At the same time, Mike, who was asleep, heard the commotion outside.
Super vision activated. He saw Wote taking pictures in front of the car.
"Hmm? What's this..."
Mike murmured in confusion, an interested look appearing on his face.
Then, he saw the man take out tools and start circling the car.
"Hey! It's really a car thief."
Mike raised an eyebrow slightly, chuckled, and retrieved the car key from his personal storage space. A mischievous smile hung on his lips as he remotely opened the car door just a crack.
This car could automatically identify authorized users; it usually didn't even require a key. To steal it, one would have to hack the system.
But looking at this guy's appearance, he didn't seem like someone who could hack the system.
So, helpful citizen Mr. Kent decided to lend him a hand.
After the car door opened, Mike saw the man's face first light up with surprise, then twist as he began to curse.
It seemed he was cursing Mike for not being careful about the car's security.
Mike: "?"
So, this thief wasn't happy about this, but was instead criticizing him for his poor security awareness?
Mike was speechless.
"What kind of weirdo is this?"
Mike watched the man get into the car, then, with a chuckle, looked at the sleeping Raven, took out his phone, opened the Avengers group chat, and sent a message.
Mike: Someone's stealing my car! (Д)ノ
Within seconds, messages started popping up.
Steve: Who is it? Do they have any special abilities?
Tony: Are you bored? Sending this in the middle of the night? Is my car something that can just be stolen?
Bruce: Hiss... He's got more guts than the Hulk.
Pietro: Quick! Let me go out and catch him! I haven't had any action in a while.
Vision: It is a professional car thief, has a prior record. Name is Wote.
Natasha: Sleep, sleep.
Wanda: Don't stay up late, everyone, you'll get old. Good night. ()
The group fell silent.
Mike raised his eyebrows, put his phone down, and looked outside.
The car thief was fumbling around inside, trying to start the car. Mike chuckled and locked the car completely. Seeing the thief, Wote, begin to panic, Mike carefully got out of bed and walked outside.
And when he got to his front door...
Well, well. Except for the honest-to-a-fault Vision, all the Avengers who had just spoken had come out of their houses and were walking toward his.
Mike was speechless, pointing at them.
Tony yawned and said, "Ah, I'm used to staying up late, can't sleep. Just came out for a stroll."
Ha! Liar!
You were the one who said it was boring, but you ran over here faster than anyone!
Meeting everyone's gaze, Tony gave a dry laugh and looked at Wanda. "Beauty sleep?"
Wanda said with perfect composure, "I ate something before bed tonight, so I decided to come out for some exercise."
Steve shook his head. "Just admit you're curious. Such lame excuses. Right, Bruce?"
"Ah, I'm not curious! It was Hulk who was curious."
Bruce shook his head.
"Pfft!"
Natasha couldn't help but laugh as she walked over to Mike's house.
Swoosh!
A figure flashed past, circled the car twice, and then appeared next to Mike.
Pietro rubbed his chin and muttered, "Looks like just a normal guy to me. Nothing special. So how does he have the nerve?"
You couldn't find many people on this planet who would dare to do this.
The group walked over curiously. After Mike switched the car window to a viewable mode, they all peered at Wote inside. Wote, who had been pushing frantically on the door, felt a chill run down his spine. Like a puppet, he creaked his head up to look out the window.
And then...
"Gulp!"
Out of sheer terror, he instinctively swallowed.
"I must be seeing things. How could the Avengers be here? And so many of them! Ha, haha, hahahaha!"
Wote laughed maniacally, continuing to push on the door, then resorting to pounding on it with his fists.
"Boohoohoo... I'm just stealing a car! Why are so many Avengers here to see me? Am I secretly a powerful supervillain? Why didn't I know?"
As he spoke, tears streamed down his face as he looked outside.
Outside the car, Mike and the others could barely hold back their laughter.
This guy was actually kind of interesting.
Mike knocked on the window, had the car's AI, Celia, open the door, and smiled at the dumbstruck Wote. "How does it feel? Is the car alright?"
Wote nodded blankly. Staring at the group of people outside, his legs were shaking uncontrollably.
He felt like he was about to face many different kinds of death.
Beheaded by Captain America's shield, blasted to ashes by Iron Man, pounded into paste by the Hulk...
In an instant, his mind flashed with countless bloody images.
A red light flickered in Wanda's eyes, and she laughed. "It's not as terrible as you're thinking."
As she spoke, she gestured lightly with her hand, pulling him out of the car.
"Can you still stand?"
Steve patted the man's shoulder, and Wote nearly knelt on the ground.
Tony glanced at him coolly and said mockingly, "You've got a lot of nerve, daring to steal a car here."
Wote subconsciously nodded, then immediately shook his head frantically, his face a mask of misery. "Don't kill me! I beg you! I'm really not some super-criminal! I don't need this much attention!"
The group couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Hearing their laughter, Wote forced a smile and couldn't help but ask, "Whose car is this? Why don't they cherish it? She's so wonderful, she shouldn't be exposed to the wind and rain."
Hearing the man's words, Mike felt like a scumbag.
But...
He patted the car. "Celia?"
"It is my extreme honor to serve Mr. Kent."
Wote's eyes widened. The car spoke?
But what it said was so infuriating.
He saw this car as a treasure, but it saw another man—one who didn't cherish it at all—as its one and only.
Wote almost burst into tears.
"Pietro, take him to the police station. He's probably responsible for the recent car thefts in the area."
"No problem!"
Pietro laughed. Just as a single, glistening teardrop slid down Wote's cheek, he was grabbed by Pietro and vanished from the spot.
"Boring."
Tony yawned, pulling his bathrobe tighter. A faint, unnoticeable smile played on his lips as he turned and went back to his house.
The others smiled and also turned to leave.
This little nighttime interlude was quite amusing.
On the other side, Pietro had dropped Wote at the police station at top speed, having thoughtfully tied him up with rope mid-trip and attached a label that read "Car Thief."
After placing him directly in front of the on-duty police officer, Pietro gave Wote a wink and vanished.
"Who are you!"
The officer, seeing Wote suddenly appear in front of him, leaped to his feet and drew his sidearm.
Wote squeezed out a smile and said, "I'm going to say I was just cornered and captured by the Avengers. Would you believe me?"
The officer: "?"
