James made his way back to his home. Still contemplating everything that has transpired.
I really want to stay out of supernatural affairs. But it seems like I won't be able to.
James sighs to himself as he walks makes it to his apartment.
The starts of dxd cannon. As well as the 10 month training before ua. I guess I need to see if Ryuuko is at Hinoji yet or not. I hope not.
Seeing inko talking to Small might and izumi about kalawarner who is apparently left alone in his apartment.
"-you'll tell me what's going on now, you don't just bring a random woman bound up. If this is what your teaching those two I'm calling the police and getting a restraining order or you'll go to prison." Inko digging into Yagi very heavily.
As izumi is trying to placate her mom. James just gives a small chuckle before speaking.
"Mamadoria, I think that's good. If you want to know why she's bound you can come and understand. Izu she'll need to know not to fall for traps others may set. Same for the other thing."
He walks to his apartment while grabbing his cell and dialing Vali. Inko still being the concerning mom and keeping yagi at a distance. While they follow him.
"Vali, you guys didn't get my info before I had to go." James speaks after vali answers.
"Wait did you move?" A small amount of confusion can be heard.
"Yes, the address is XxXxxxxXxX apartment number 14 in mustafu." James responds while opening the door
"You and Azzy can just port in no need for the long way I know Penume will want him back to do the paperwork."
James hears a chuckle as a magic circle appears in his living room. He hangs up the phone and puts it away.
Inko freezes and looks stumped while kalawarner begins to visibly sweat. Izumi and Yagi looks in awe at the sight as Vali appears out of the circle, Azazel in tow.
"Damnit kid now I don't really have reason to stay out." Azazels first words while pouting.
Vali just gives a smirk and fist bump to James as he walks past to the kitchen to get drinks for everyone.
"Been a while. I can tell you've gotten stronger."
"But we have as well hatchling" divine dividing appears and Albion speaks leaving izumi yagi and inko in awe and confusion. Azazel is the first to notice them and speaks up.
"OH what's this, introducing others to our side of the world?" Azazel curiously looks at Yagi
"Intresting, a sacred gear holder one that boosts magic? Or something else? Ah wait yes. I'm Azazel leader of the grigori nice to meet you three." Still focusing on Yagi like a puzzle peice. Before shifting his gaze to the izumi and inko.
"Hm he seems strong, but the girl isn't neither is the woman." Vali buts in noticing as well.
"Now now Vali play nice were not here to insult." Azazel chastised.
"I'm Yagi toshinori,"
"Inko midoria and this is my daughter Izumi."
Azazel nods as vali glances to kalawarner and whistles
"Got you good didn't he." Kalawarner doesn't answer just looks down understanding this is not going to end well.
As james returns with drinks he sits down after guiding izumi inko and Yagi to places near him, and looks to Azazel.
"Cmon kid you greet vali but not me." Azazel smirks.
"Vali hasn't ordered me to be killed cause I'm a threat. He'll probably fight me one on one. You however i wont get that honor." James says with a deadpan and vali nods while taking a seat.
"I didn't order anything like that and you know it. After your help, no you are a friend. Which brings up something shuri and barakial. She wants to meet you." Azazel gives a scoff.
James looks surpised for a moment. And kalawarner looks shocked after hearing this.
"She actually woke up?."
"Yea. Touch and go for the first few years, and then the coma. But she woke up about a year and half ago." Azazel responds with a nod.
James gives a nod back,
"But you don't answer calls or anything. So I wasn't able to get in touch till now."
Azazel pouts out.
James just deadpans and shows his call history from his phone.
"Really, I don't have any from you."
"Not what I ment." Azazel waves his hand.
"Magic call is what I ment."
"What you don't understand a phone oldman?" James responds quickly getting a snort from Vali and a small giggle from izumi.
"Sheesh kids these days, I used to be worshiped you know." Azazel responds with a deadpan
"Probably when humanity was still grunting as a form of communication." James sparks back with a smirk.
Getting a chuckle from Vali and offended look from Azazel, a horrified look from inko, and giggle from Izumi.
"I'm not that old" azazel grits out.
"Ahh but you do admit your old as fuck." James gives a Cheshire grin cause the others to laughter a bit. Azazel just shakes his head. Chuckling before straightening up.
"So let's get to business. We're you able to protect the red dragon?"
James sighs and runs his hand through his hair.
"Bit late, actually. He was already dying due to his wound by the time I arrived and, due to last time stuff like that happened I wasn't going to risk a juggernaut drive activation. Fallen got away due to one of the heirs, so no i didn't. And because of me being seen fighting that fallen, their probably going to be on high alert."
Azazel nods and gives a sigh.
"Damn. Least you tried."
James just gives a tired nod. Before inko speaks up.
"OK so I need information on what the hell is going on." She says with a I'm waiting look.
"Your a part of his group, in the supernatural world right?" Vali chimes in with a raised eyebrow.
James just grunts in annoyance.
"About that."
"What?"inko asks with confusion but then proceeds to get the rundown of the supernatural.
"Izumi why didn't you tell me?" Inko looks at her daughter.
Izumi for her part looks sheepish. And Yagi speaks up.
"Mrs. Midoria i believe it was not to worry you about it." Inko looks to him then to izumi.
James sighs.
"Inko it's not Yagi's influence. If anything it probably would've happened around me sometime in the near future. Ive had quite a bit of contact with the supernatral in the past some would and still may come back to bite me."
Inko stares at James upset but understanding.
"As fun as it would be to see you get chewed out, let's address the issues at hand." Albion interjects.
"C'mon Albion don't be a stick in the mud." Azazel grumbles.
"Your just trying to drag this out." Vali says to him. But that effectively ended the conversation for now.
Everyone turns to kalawarner as she pales now fully understanding that she messed up.
"I-i-it we received orders to eliminate threats to the grigori and a list of those potential threats. It was signed by you. Raynare and Donnaseek, showed Millet and me."
She looks away.
"I was told that failure would not be acceptable. Anyone who did would be a stray or no longer with the grigori. And hunted as a traitor."
Inko looks horrified, as does izumi. Yagi however is looking thoughtful while Azazel frowns Vali gives James a battlelusted grin while he rolls his eyes.
"Jeez Azazel i feel the love." James drawls.
Azazel glances at him with a shut up im thinking, sighs before saying.
"So even the higher ranking members are traitors. Thought we dealt with them all."
He turns to Kalawarner.
"You'll be heading with us to get more information after that we'll decide what to do. James please if they step out of line any further they will be strays I'm asking you to keep an eye on it. And handle it."
James grunts, an acknowledgement with a nod. As vali and azazel both move to kalawarner preparing to leave.
"Once I know more I'll let you know kid. " Azazel speaks to james as they prep the magic circle.
"Be dropping by to see if you kept up with me." Vali gives a remark as the circle engulfed the 3 sending them away.
Silence engulfed the room.
Ophis I think I get it now why you want Silence. James thinks to himself as Inko finally prosseses what just happened.
She turns sharply to James.
And with a glare
"Explain now."
"OK ok just drop the glare, I'm not going to get all into it tho just enough so you can understand when to leave."
Inko opens her mouth to speak but is cut off by james before she could.
"This is for your safety, the supernatural side is kill or be killed or be killed resurrected as someone's pet. It's not nice. Most of the time."
James sighs out.
"So it's like this.....
