The two giant fishes were black and white, featuring identical spots across their bodies.
"What kind of monster is this?"
Lisanna looked on in surprise as she watched the two massive creatures constantly colliding in the middle of the forest.
"This is Celestial Spirit Magic—Pisces, one of the twelve signs of the Zodiac," Joel explained slowly, his eyes fixed on the two giant fishes.
Joel recognized their identity at a glance, but a strange look crossed his face. He hadn't expected a Celestial Spirit wizard to appear here, let alone one who commanded the Pisces key. In the original story, the holder of the Pisces key was Yukino. However, since the current timeline was several years before the main plot began, Joel wasn't certain who the current owner was.
"Let's go and see what's happening. The people from Eisenwald might be there as well," Joel said.
He quickly headed toward the commotion, with Erza and the others following close behind.

Meanwhile, a man with short silver-white hair and tattoos under his eyes stared at a young girl standing not far away, a hint of greed flashing in his eyes. This man was the President of Eisenwald, Erigor.
Opposite him stood a girl draped in a snow-white cloak, her short silver blue hair adorned with a blue rose. She was the holder of the Pisces key: Yukino Agria.
At this moment, Yukino was trembling with fear. She never expected to encounter a Dark Guild member. For a lone Celestial Spirit wizard, crossing paths with a Dark Guild rarely ended well.
Celestial Spirit wizards were rare in this world, and the keys they held were even rarer. There are 88 constellation keys in total, corresponding to the 88 constellations in the sky. Among them, the twelve Zodiac keys are the most powerful and can be sold for astronomical prices on the black market. Consequently, many Dark Guild members would hunt down Zodiac key holders, killing them just to loot and sell their keys.
"Pisces..."
Yukino looked up at the fish floating in the sky with a worried expression, her hand tightening around another key hidden beneath her cloak.
The white giant fish suddenly lunged toward Erigor, but he dodged with ease, causing the fish to crash into and level several trees.
"These two stinking fish are truly annoying!" Erigor shouted, floating in the air with a look of irritation.
A surge of magical power erupted from his body as he unleashed a flurry of wind blades. "Storm Shred!"
The blades struck Pisces repeatedly, repelling them dozens of meters. Soon, their bodies began to emit golden particles and started to dissipate.
"We're sorry... this is all we can do to help for now..." A gentle female voice whispered in Yukino's ear before the spirits vanished, returning to the Celestial Spirit World.
"How can this be...?"
Tears welled up in Yukino's eyes. Since obtaining Pisces, she had relied heavily on them to defeat her enemies. However, Erigor's strength was formidable, and Yukino's current magical capacity was too low to draw out the spirits' true potential.
"Hahaha! With magic as weak as yours, the Pisces key is a complete waste in your hands!" Erigor sneered.
"In that case... Come forth! Ophiuchus!"
Yukino drew another key. Following her call, a thick purple mist instantly blanketed hundreds of meters of the forest.
"What is this?" Erigor's face twisted from surprise to even deeper greed. "Is it another powerful key?"
Within the purple mist, a colossal black serpent began to stir, its gaze fixed on Erigor with intense killing intent.
